Hi Hillbankdee
I was concerned about this too as I spotted it yesterday and as we have already booked for August . I rang Thomson today who just said it was fully booked that's why it no longer appears there. I am not convinced, tho he did say our booking was fine. Normally all the accommodation appears on the list regardless of whether it is fully booked. I would also be surprised if it IS fully booked so early on too.

Anyone else contacted them??

We are not going back to the Don Toni this year . However, after reading the post by Ibizamad( and just out of curiosity) I had a look at Thomson/Skytours and both the Club and Hotel are showing as available.

Cant believe the difference in price though. Skytours for 2 adults + 15 year old was around £2849 All Incl. First choice = £3521. The dates I chose were end of June / beginning of July. Airport Edinburgh or Glasgow.

When I looked quickly first thing this morning Skytours looked as though they were giving a free child place as the total price then was around £2300. Different increased price this afternoon! It does really pay to shop around.

Hi,
Have just tried to get a price with Thomsons for July but I cannot get a price for the Club Don Toni. Can anyone help as my kids are keen to return to this hotel.I can get the Don Toni hotel but as I need 2 rooms it is very expensive and well over my budget.

well i have just had a look.you cannot get into this hotel if booking with thompsons.its not listed anymore.so runours might be true from a few years ago that this hotel has been sold and bookings will go to another company.plus you cannot book useing the fiesta hotel group web site.

i have emailed them to ask.so lets see if they get back.i will ask around for info.

The Don Toni Hotel is certainly available on the Thomsons website this morning. I just tried to do a "dummy booking" and it was letting me book for 3 July. I agree tho that the Club doesnt seem available. It isn't appearing on the drop down list of hotels. It does seem strange!

I wonder perhaps if there is other plans for the Club side!!

Hi,
If it is true that Fiesta have sold or are in the process of selling off the Club Don Toni then I have to say that we as a family will be very sad.It had a great atmosphere about the place, the pool area was perfect for all ages and the rooms were superb. We had two fantastic holidays in 2008 and 2009 after previously staying at the Algarb. There has been constant rumours that Fiesta were/are looking to sell off their hotels in Ibiza and concentrate on their Caribbean hotels and this looks like another step towards it.My only hope is that it is not GPS that is the buyer.

Well here we go again!!! We are booked to go to the Club in July, probably last time for a while as my son turns 13 the following year. I got a free child place and a good price for 11 nights, booked it just after August Bank Holiday when the price dipped for about a week. We will have to wait and see what happens, but I to noticed how it had disappeared from the Thomson chioces - lets hope it is fully booked, as when I booked the girl said we had got the last free child place for that week flying from Ncle - maybe she was correct - I thought it was just travel agent hype!!!!!!! fingers crossed all ok.

well just to let you know this happen two years ago with the Algrab hotel.you could still stay there.but they said that it would not be a tui hotel.so no rep.others were told they could move to another hotel for an extra £50.00.now some paid and others stuck it out and did not.

i still cannot get any info from my contacts on this hotel.most got letters in feb others by phone telling them what had happen.

when booking in shop they have a slightly different system to home pcs.they can tell how many rooms are free and child places.mine you i think its set to show only one room and free child places left.

its funny i booked with t/c last year, they said only was room was left.when i got there i could of had 4.my pick of the best.

Just checked on the Thomsons website and the Club Don Toni is not listed in the drop down box even when no specific date is listed.Seems strange and I cannot understand why Thomsons would not have been in touch with people who have already booked.Just have to wait and see.
