Hi,
I am a bit late asking as we go tomorrow but, has anyone stayed at Gatwick travel lodge, we are booked in for 1 night, but I'd like to know how the pay & display car park works. We would like to go to the lodge 1st, then during the evening drive over to the airport to check out bags in, go & eat somewhere before we return to the lodge for the night. What I'm asking is can we pay to park for the night but come back & forth using the same ticket - god that sounds complicated. I hope someone understands me & can help.....

I Do Not Use Gatwick Airport So All I Can Offer Is, BAA Gatwick Airport Website (For Food and Drink)
And Gatwick's North Terminal Map (It Is In PDF Format, So You Will Need Adobe Reader, If You Do Not Have It You Can Download It Here)

Thanks Gower, I did look on the BAA website, but apart from the usual chain type pubs, sandwich places etc, there wasn't much of a choice & it didn't say what was replacing Chez Gerard etc, or what brands are stocked in the Duty Free
Just looked at my travel documents, and we are flying from the South Terminal. Does anyone know whether there is a Boots or similar there. Thanks

yes there is a boots upstairs in the so called gatwick village, and one once thru security just on your left i belive, i use it too, ... buy your things after security .. you dont want them taken off you and have to pay out for more
there is a weatherspoon on both sides in gatwick south which serve food, the one upstairs in the village serves a nice breakfast .. last year it was around £15 or 2 of us and that was coffee too.

thanks we've got around 15 weeks yet, but I like to be organised. As we only have the 15kg for luggage, I'm going to buy all my toiletries, hair products, suncreams etc after going through security. If I've got any money left I might have brekkie & a pint as well 
Replying to GoboFraggle's post - there is a Lloyds No 1 (Wetherspoons) pub/bar at the far left end once you get through Security which was fairly quiet when we were there. They also appear to be planning to open a Cafe Rouge at that end.
anyone got a bargain prices for July 12th 1 night with 15 days parking for 2 adults and 2 children please

I wanted to know if anyone had used the new No.1 lounge in South Terminal? Have booked it before my midday flight to Dom Republic and as its quite new I can't find any reviews on it!

I believe we walk through a tunnel which brings you out at the airport south terminal.
I want to arrange to meet my brother-in-law (and my very surprised husband
) at a convienient/close place near the tunnel exit at the airport, but i cant seem to find the tunnel on the gatwick airport plan, can anyone tell me where it comes out or what
it is near.
