Hi Gel and walks... so sorry had forgotten all about it, time has just flown since we got here and to be honest havent looked for him, will have to see what I can do but have friends arriving tonorrow , i will see if he is still on the number i had for him otherwise i will have to drive out to vagator (thats where he stayed i think!! ) and see what i can find out...

hi all,
its great to be back online after our fabulous holiday. (not great having to get up to go to work this morning). we did the meet at the whynot and met some great people. irish colleen, irishman, mike richardson, chilly and oh, jetti and mags, squigs, roma and oh and fizzy2. it was a great laugh. we stayed over, as staying at dona sylvia in cavellosim down south and had a great day out with jetti and mags. we went with them to the oriental tai next to the mira and had a terrrific meal (well reccommended) will post some pictures later. then onto the meet. i think i can say it is a must to go and meet some other people from the HT website. they are all nutters ( not in a bad way) we chatted and had a few drinks and took loads of photos. thanks to all for a great night. chilly did you get the stains out of your trousers???????
we also had a meetup with karengodwin in the south at the goan village in cavelossim. also bumped into sunny3 on several occasions. great to meet up. had another great laugh. and food in goan village was ace and service was brill. next day went with karen godwin and co and went on bettys booze cruise. what a day out. laughed from start to finish. well recommended for anyone who goes to cavellossim. 750rps pp all your drink + excellent food and company. see the dolphins and the excellent river sals birdlife.
so onto later and we arranged to meet with polly50 and nigel the following weekend. also got a phone text from irish colleen. can we get a room at sao domingoes for her and irishman as they were coming down as well. went over and organised that. little did we know it was the start of a very hectic and enjoyable couple of days. we met up as they all arrived running the gaunlet of the taxi strike and took them to the riverview for a drink and food. it was great to see their faces when they saw the river sal. how different the south is to the north. onto the beach for the rest of the day. the meal at night again at goan village was brill. next day back on bettys booze cruise. havnt got enough room on here to describe what a fabulous day it was. another meal at goan village fab again. at midnight had to give up as bus picking us up at 4am to come home.
thanks to all the people we have met up with this time for making it one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had.
