Congrats celcat!!

well we had a really fun night last night ... and a lot of laughter....and we all turned up Gem or nearly all, there was jetti and friend, granypat. smudger2, Irish colleen, Irishman, MikeRichardson, Roma and O/H Chilly and O/H Fizzy2 squigs and OH... all great people and good to meet those i hadnt met before too...it was a bit of a squeeze there though and i think had there been more would have been difficult re seating... lots of flashes going off so cant wait to see all the pics i will try and post mine today and sure there will be a few more tales told when the others get online

Just looked on the BBC Weather page Polly and it says Friday cloudy and 29 degrees :que

I am sure it will change before that, couldnt be as bad as last March :yikes

Or maybe we should cancel and go to Blackpool or Torquay for the week :rofl

Never trust the BBC weather forcast,no sign of rain forcast for Fri or any other day here in Goa at the moment,leave the wellys behind,all that extra weight :rofl

That's a relief Split, I got the forecast from the Yahoo weather site - they are forecasting scattered thunderstorms from Friday till Wednesday! Thanks, it's nice to know what the forecast is from Goa.

Just checked my booking on line and it says that my tickets were printed on Monday 24th, so hopefully they should be with us in the next day or so :cheers

We are staying at the Silver Sands, Candolim in the superior rooms, the first choice wesite says,

Facilities are as standard rooms plus have air-conditioning included, mini bar*, satellite TV and are larger in size.

Charges may be made for some facilities in addition to those highlighted as payable locally above.
* - payable locally

Anybody stopped in one of the superior rooms and knows if air-conditioning would be an additional charge? I think it is included.
