Looks like we will be there the same time.
Do you go half board or self catering.
Was thinking about e-mailing the hotel and asking for a pool view, any tips on where to ask for to get a good room.

We emailed them last year saying we had been before really enjoyed it etc and got a cracking room overlooking the top pool where the laundry area is. I emailed them this year but didnt get a reply. Checked with the H10 website where you have to join the H10 group and get a card that allows you to ask about certain rooms but only after this visit. That said all rooms seem to be of very good standard. We're going H/B as we did last year which is great but went S/C the first time which was fine too
Enjoy

Thanks for the info Neesy. Was getting a bit worried as there does not seem to be any information from people who have been lately. There have been some good reviews on trip advisor recently, the only people who seem to be complaining are the ones with no children and personally I would not go there if I did not have children!!!!!

We are going here on 16th October for a week, can anyone tell me if the kids club will still be on and what the weather is like at this time of year.

Heres a few questions I hope someone can answer as we are off soon-
1. The dress code. Do men have to wear full length trouses or will 3/4 do.

2. Are inflatables other than rings allowed in the pool.

3. Entertainment. On an evening what shows are the best to watch.

4. Is it worth hiring a mini bar when you are half board.

5. Is there a kettle in the room

Thanks

Hi Lauden

Nearly there now hope the weather over here deteriorates come the 30th

1. 3/4 length are fine as long as they cover your knees, in the morning you can wear shorts in the restaurant
2. Inflatables are allowed in the top pool the one with the childrens area not sure about the other pool though
3. Shows are kids orientated Parrot show, Karaoke, acrobats etc as well as shows put on by the entertainment team. Always good for a laugh if you're not expecting too much
4. Hire the mini bar handy for storing small bottles of water or milk for a cuppa
5. No kettle provided although I think you can hire them but would probably be better just buying your own

Enjoy anyway and see you soon

Thanks Neesy

Cant wait to go, although I could not stand the heat yesterday - its not the same with out the pool and a nice cool drink from the bar.
Just getting my last bits and pieces together, not long now for the sun bed run!!!!!!!!! Theres been some good reviews on trip advisor and holiday watch dog, although a lot are saying the food is bland, we are planning to eat out a few times.
Have fun

We are off to the med village in 6 days staying half board could anyone answer a couple of questions about the restauraunt.

1.Can men wear sleeveless tops at dinner?

2.What are the times for breakfast and dinner?

Can anyone tell me if you can hire pool towels and how much it is. Im sure I read it somewhere but cant find it (im packing at the moment and looks like ill need the space.)

Just back from the Med Village..

In reply for the questions above:-

Yes, men are okay with sleeveless tops.

08.30>10.30 for Brekafast and 18.30>21.30 for Dinner

And regarding the hire of pool towels, they are 15 Euros each, but you get that back at the end of your holiday or when you decide to hand the towels back. We changed the towels daily no probs. Wish i'd known about it earlier, would have saved packing loads of beach towels.

So in theory, you hire them for nothing.

Very good holiday...going back next year

A word of warning to anyone who is going half board and have booked (and paid extra) for a family room - there is no such thing!!!!!
We returned yesterday having spent 14 days is a double room with 2 camp beds. I will try and upload some photos tonight.
Complaints got us no where.
