spoke to vfs and the guy said they werent implemnting th 1 month rule any more.
got an email from someone else at vfs who said they are.
spoke to 2 visa firms who said they werent!
fingers crossed even more, its worth a go to lose £80 rather than cancel flights and accoms and lose £300.
Do you really think you should of been put in this situation by the Indan Government in the first place?
if i dont get a visa i will cancel the flight and accoms and take the hit on it, then book Kenya for about 6 weeks later!
I hope it all works out for you anyway paxrax.
One way or the other it will bud!
Is it possible that if you ask for a single entry visa you get the 3 month one, and if you ask for a multiple entry one you get 6 months?
This is going through the Mumbai legal system. What with the 2 month gap in force it will make it very difficult and unviable to winter in Goa/India.
It seems the Indian Gov just don't want long termers staying in Goa any more.
This is just someone's opinion taken from another forum.
I have heard it from a good sauce that six month visas stamped with "not to exceed 90 days stay" are on there way in for the British.
what good 'sauce' was that spaldy?? HP or Heinz
sorry couldnt resist that one!!!!
Can you tell us what good source you heard it from as we have heard nothing like this?
Thanks Chilly
I'm not sure if someone's opinion from another forum could be seen as a "good source". Perhaps its best just to wait and see what, if anything, happens. There is little point in speculating at the moment.
Therer does seem to be a lot of "I heard from a good source" but not a lot of hard fact being thrown around in this forum. I think it is scaring people. I think maybe we should deal in fact.
I hope this thread isn't going to get too saucy!!!!!
chilly
Hi I think its a load of horseradish myself colleen and myself will still be going to goa even if its a 14 day visa slan(cheers) Irishman.
posted on monday, today vfs says-
Processed application has been handed over to Royal Mail on 04-Mar-2010. You can track the movement of your application envelope on the website http://www.royalmail.com using the Royal Mail reference number on your receipt.
does that mean for definate that they have been granted or not?
sweating now as my old visas hadnt expired but we had to have a new one to go in april.
No point speculating, you'll get them back in the morning most probably.
