Hi, just wanted to let you all know that since fc delayed opening I have been badgering them to put in writing that they guarantee the complex will open on July 1st. I have just received a phone call from the manager of my local fc confirming that she has been on hold most of the day to head office and they have at last agreed to write such a letter!! I am looking at this as a huge step forward as once they have put it in writing they can ( hopefully ) not go back on their word. Now I know that most of you are going to say that it was written in their brochure so what is the difference but I think there is a big difference they cannot write such a letter and then go back on it ( please fc !! ).

Personally I feel relieved as before now all we've had is loads of talk and little confirmation and I am seeing this as just that. Hopefully this means that THEY at least believe it's going to open this time.

I shall post again when I actually receive the letter. I hope this does put a few minds at rest and at last we can all look forward to a good holiday.

PS All the positive comments over the last few days have been great to read we must all be sending good vibes!!!!

Hi Emmabombemma I think you will find it is Dutch. If you look on the website it is Dutch travel companies that are advertising the kabc. But anyhow it would have still been nice to have been arriving with other fellow countrymen.

I am not used to drinking that much alcohol so if the quality is not good it goes straight to my head. I tried half a glass of wine from an AI resort and it went straight to my head. I am sure they will not mind if you bring your own booze and mix it with coke. After all they are saving money, even if it is a Euro for a bottle.

just been trying to book kabc for when we go 16 aug as parents thought they might like to come also if price ok last week loads available this week not even on web site this year AT ALL can only find it for next may what is going on even tried to type in hotel code from brochure and it was not recognised . looking forward to person getting letter of confirmation from head office that all will be up and running . seems to be one positive step forward one or two negative ones back at moment definatley biggest roller coaster ride i ever been on and i think i might want to get off!

Just tried going on first choice site aswell, we were thinging of maybe taking a look at the finished product when we go in july to kos and if we liked what we saw then maybe booking for a later holiday this year, but like you say mrsmel it's not allowing any bookings until may 2007! how strange

Hi all, I just thought I would give it a go at booking. On late deals it was letting you book, there where plenty of rooms showing but no kids dens.
I made booking for 6 adults and 2 children 2double rooms and one suite
total cost was £5,398.80 less than what we all paid originally. It wouldn't let you change the flight times though. That was 8pm flight on the 5th July.

Good morning all, I was thinking and some-one may be able to answer here but all this talk of letters to say yes it will open don't mean a thing unless it opens with everthing in place, how much can fc not have finished but still say it is open, as I don't want to go if say the water park is not totally finished, or the kids clubs are not fully up and running with enough trained staff etc etc I couldn't care less about being able to claim money back after the holiday as the holiday would already not be what we wanted!! So basically how much can not be ready but fc still legally can say it's open?

Hi Emma, Well done for all your perseverance with getting a confirmation letter from fc, let us know when you get it.
When we went to book another person to go with us it didn't let us but when we contacted them direct they had the space and because we added it to our booking still got the online discount.
