ive been looking online for the last hour and there is no availability for most of the places we are looking at for around 14th june, I get the impression that KABC and Kef bookings are being cancelled by the guests quite rapidly. I have just spoke with FC who have said that I will be able to change over (although no indication of costs) but its only customer services who can do this, We have decided on Pegasus Palace (not ideally where we wanted to go but at least the reviews are now good) it is also being run by Iberstar this year for food and entertainment, so I will be looking at changing over to this tomorrow morning.

I dont know if anyoneon here is interested but over on the Kef ABC website someone has posted NEW BUILDING SITE photos..........

You must take a look if you are visiting any Aqua club this year........
(bear in mind F/C are saying that this resort WILL be open 13th June!)
It may give you some idea of how honest F/C are being!!!!!
Im shifting holidays tomorrow morning.........!!!!!!!

Peet..........I know this.....but F/C are spinning the same lines to Kef people & Kos people so thought the Kos people would be interested!!!!!!!!
We (the Kef lot) were told that Kos was completed and Kef was ahead of schedule at one point....all, we find is UNTRUE!
(hope everyone understood that)
Just thought you guys on here would be interested in the photos.....sorry if i was wrong...........

Doesn't matter, Squeeky, I am new on this site and just got a heart attack by seeing those pictures. We are travelling with GoBest( I am Dutch), up to now they are responding to everybody personally. I wrote them an email and they just called me back the day afterthat. All people who are cancelling are helped ok, I did not hear any complaints. I am really sorry for you guys booked at FC. As I see the complaints.

yes Sukkay we are all angry on the Kef site.........im not going till Aug and im not taking ANY chances now.....!

We are supposed to be going on May 31st but have now decided to change, hopefully to the Pegasus in Turkey. Does anyone know if FC will 'try' and charge us fee for changing? As they haven't technically cancelled us. Also, it seems the Pegasus may work out cheaper so will they give us a refund for the balance? I've really tried to stay positive about all this but it's got the better of me today and I'm getting on that phone first thing in the morning!!! :evil:

Personally I'm hoping 24th is pulled now so I don't have a fight about changing hotel. I've lost all faith and do not want to be sent to an unfinished resort (had this happen in Spain several years ago - woke up to builders on the balcony at 6:30am, couldn't have balcony door open all holiday for dust and noise etc.) Did not want to be the first into a new build which is why we booked for nearly a month after scheduled opening. What time do FC Customer Service lines open tomorrow - guess they're going to be busy.

We're trying to stay positive for 24th, but it's not looking good. Figure, if it's not going to open on time they will have to tell us in the next couple of days. Will be back on the phone again tomorrow - don't know what good that will do. :roll:

i know how you feel sam im going to ring tomorrow as well and depending on what they say might try and rebook too! also liz been there as well in portugal builders outside our room first thing building a wall my hubby flipped, my youngest was 2 at the time, no water in the pools, nothing finished and in the middle of nowhere, we had been placed on arrival and i thin k they only wanted to fill the plane. we got moved the next day but it was a nightmare!!!!

they will have to give us all notice offer us alternative accommodation or a full refund plus compensation, pretty soon. I was really looking forward to this holiday. would have been lovely to meet you all :wink:

Looks like its gonna be a race who can get through first tomorrow morning, Anniewinnie, we looked at cuba and mexico and for our date there are no london flights available its too late in the day now for these holidays. Sam L - have you had a look at the pegasus palace photos, stick them onto slideshow and sit back and watch there are 371 photos and they show the complex now as it stands finished and it looks fab, there are also some early June 05 photos showing how I can imagine the KABC will look around the same time.

Jo - my hubbie has been moaning all weekend that no houseworks been done, that ive not cooked a meal at all, I did manage to do a full food shop today though, ive told him that this forum is more important and that he will thank me when he is laying in the sun with a beer in his hand.
