I have decided to think in the exact same way now, as there is nothing we going on 24th May can do.
So lets just think it will all be completed and there will be water in the pools and food n drink readily available.
Everything WILL BE READY!

Ok. Been back on to customer services about being told by them earlier that the watersports are still available. The operator this time again told me that they were still available. I told her that when you go to make a booking it comes up saying "water skiing, banana boats, ringos and paragliding are no longer available". She told me this was a mistake and they will be taking this off. I asked her for written confirmation of this and she said that they wouldn't do that as they only put it in writing if something is an issue. I said that I believed this to be an issue as I have it in writing that quote in writing (I printed off the site). She then went off for sometime to come back and tell me that she would have to speak to the accommodation team and that they will get back to me to confirm the situation either way.

Needless to say, it won't be today as all the Team Leaders are in a meeting all day!!! (Yeah rite, more like they are hiding away to avoid all of us! )

I'll wait and see what they come up with.

Jo you're right about going mad on this forum, my hubby banned me from the computer all weekend so we could have a stress free one!!

I have spoken to fc this morning who confirmed all water activities were going ahead as planned, (although she was quick to point out that obvioiusly things can change) so I too am very confused as the website does say these are no longer available.

Dear all, If you cant change without incurring huge costs, then FC must be confident that the resort will be open. Kos is a lovely place so as long as there is food, drink and a pool you should have a good time. I KNOW we will have a good time as long as the sun is shining

You're all making me feel much more positive about things today! Had a worrying weekend and was planning on trying to change holiday first thing this morning. However, I am now feeling much more confident that it will be ready and am beginning to feel excited about going!!

We're going on 31st so by the time we get there I'm sure those of you going on 24th will have plenty to tell us about your first week. All good hopefully!

Jo Chick SO7 refers to summer 2007. I guess this may just be a flyer for holidays next year, and that the opening date is the date when they open Next year as Kos is not a year round resort?

Finally managed to change to Holiday Village Costa del Sol. (two weeks going out 27th May, and I got over £360 refund as holiday cheaper) Shame it came to this as have visited Kos before and loved the island, but with two restless young children I had to make sure there would be plenty of facilities for them ( and their Dad who's more of a kid than my 6 year old!). I hope all of you who have stuck to KABC have a wonderful holiday, and I'll look forward to some Holiday Truths afterwards......

i am feeling a little more positive after reading the last 2 pages.

And i think its due to our friend, the entertainment rep Matt.
He has made things sound more positive, being flown out on the 10th May which is 2 weeks before the first holidayers go.

We can only keep everything crossed and hope for the best.

Hi Michelle, no i didn't say it was chilly in the evenings. I think someone else did though. I have been to kos many times always around the end of June and i have NEVER been chilly in the evenings. Usually quite the opposite. I take trousers for the evenings and always end up wearing shorts all night!! A couple of years ago around the end of June the average daytime temp was over 95 degrees and did not drop much in the evening. I will post a link to the historical weather site so you can see for yourself the temps over the day and night. Maybe it is a bit cooler very early in the season, like the end of April. Cant imagine it being Chilly though.
