Hi,

Oh thanks for that! I'm so looking forward to it & I'm trying to convince friends to come too!!

I can't wait to do Florida but will wait for the children to be a little older before I do that one so that they remember it better!

I'm thinking of booking to go to Lykia World in mid-September. I was wondering about the kids club as my daughter will be a two weeks off her third birthday when we go. I see that Lykia run a creche for under threes, but I'm worried that she might be a bit bored if it's geared up for looking after babies rather than toddlers. The other kids club is for 3 - 6 year olds and I'd be a bit concerned about her being thrown in with older, more boisterous children. Has anyone else been with a similar aged child and could put my mind at rest?

Also I seem to be able to get a better deal on the Residence rather than the standard Village rooms. What are they like? Will it be a bit cramped with two adults and a toddler?

The Residence rooms are huge!

IMO you are better in a residence room with a toddler as the village rooms don't have bathtubs. My kids didn't used to do well in a shower at that age.

I agree with Bridd, the shower in the village room is pretty small. The room itself is big, but the enclosure is small if that makes sense. If you can get a residence room at a good price I would go for that.

Thanks for the advice on the Residence rooms.

Can anyone advise on my other query regarding baby club/snoopies for a nearly three year old?

:thanks

What are the family rooms like in the Village? I take it these are larger than the Large Superior Room but in what way?
Reply
The family rooms have two separate bedrooms. The superior rooms have just one.

I think last year I must have been in what was one of the superior village rooms. Basically you get one large room, it was on two levels the upper level you had a huge bed. Think it might have been two 3ft beds puched together, then you went down a step to another level where there was a double sofa bed. So not much privacy for a family of 4. :( But we weren't complaining as we got it at a bargain price. :) and the facilities and food are the same whatever room you get to stay in.

Oh ok, cool thank you! Family room it is then! ;)

Hi all

Have just booked for 2 weeks in august got a cracking deal with holidays direct ( part of the t cook group ) four adult prices and one child £4171 much cheaper than booking direct with t cook. also in that price is free extra luggage allowance and free in flight meals plus a morning flight. The only bad thing is its another seven months to go.

Hi guys, can anyone please answer this question for me?

Can the twin beds in the standard village rooms be pushed together, or are they attached to the wall/backboard?

Another quick question (not as important to me as the first),

Has anyone extended their stay by a night? If so, was this expensive?

Thanks in advance.
