Where did you stay ? I am looking for somewhere for May poss self catering (must be cheap) or maybe back to the Moreyo. . Only problem is the cases and no lift maybe I could bribe Hector to carry them for me!!! CBG

This time because I was alone I was able to stay in my brother's apartment. If I hear of any cheap apartments I will PM you. It is a pity about the lack of a lift at the Moreyo but I'm sure Hector or Juanma would help if they are available when you arrive - (in May I don't think it would be a problem if you emailed Carolina and asked for a first floor room).

Anyway got to get ready for work now - really could do with an extra week off! :cry:

yeah we stayed at the canarias park, the mini train stopped about 5, the food was ok but as I SAY it was winding down .We played mini golf in the rain Probally a nice place in the summer, I'm at tha sol balmoral in 2 weeks will probally have a walk along if the weather's OK

Most of the accom agencies have summer 07 on sale now so I'm looking for May just can't decide self catering, B& B or Half Board. Sometimes the prices are cheaper for Half Board CRAZY (thats what I'll be soon sitting on this seat on the computer pouring over hotels in Cala Bona or Millor) but its raining outside and I'm dreaming of next years holidays. CBG

We go to callas de mallorca next saturday. This is the 4th time there staying at cala domingos apartments. Anything you need to know?

To all you lucky people going out to Majorca for half term, have a great time. Wish we were going. We had planned to go but decided to give it a miss this year :cry:

. We were going to Sa Coma but someone who lives there said if we were coming out perhaps Magaluf would be a better bet cos Sa Coma is dead :shock:

. Oh well, there's always next year. Gx

Been off work for a few days last week so been watching repeats of Passport to the Sun on UKTV (sad I know). Not sure what year the series was (was it about 2000?). Anyway just wondering if anyone knows what's happened to Matt and Leanne of Poppy's bar. Are they still working/living in Majorca. Also, is there going to be another series. Love the programme, total escapism (not sure if I've spelt that correctly :oops:

When is the English half term? We're off to the Marina Terranova on the 27th for the weekend, I thought it might be a nice quiet romantic break but now I'm thinking its probably going to be full of kids.

Oh well, just means we'll feel extra guilty for leaving our four year old at home!

We stayed at this hotel in May 2005, it is a Family Hotel so there were quite a lot of children there. We liked the hotel despite the steepish hill
up to it but it is in a good area to go down to either Magaluf or Palma Nova.
We are a couple of senior citizens and we coped ok so I am sure you will. Enjoy your break

We stayed quite close to here in the Vista Nova in 2000 so I have an idea where it is. Although I can vaguely remember how to get into Magaluf, but I can't really remember what we did that week.

I'm sure we'll just wander around and find a good bar and somewhere decent to eat since we're only there for the two nights.

I remember the hill too

just waiting for the taxi to arrive. In 12 hours time will be sitting by the pool (hopefully) with a nice cool glass of wine. To all going to Majorca within the next few days - have a great time.

Where is everyone on this chat/discussion post?
I have just had 2 weeks in Benidorm and been home for a week and still no posts. I am already looking forward to our next holiday in Palma Nova in January.
I should add that we are going to Skegness for this weekend for a Country Music weekend (quite a difference after Benidorm!)

Lincolnsue Yes its very quiet on the forum. We can only just remember our holidays and next years are too far ahead to get excited about. I have my flight for May booked and waiting for a good deal to Cala Bona/Millor to turn up tho hubby fancies going to Peurto Pollensa for a change. Its been many years since I was in Palma Nova a bet its changed in the last 15 years, handy for Palma etc .Enjoy your Country Music weekend I'm sure it will be fun.
