we are staying at the cala bona hotel. If anyone who is going to cala bona can let me know where they are staying I'll check it out when we are there, for us to look at alternative accommodation

We're staying at the Cala Bona hotel in August.That's 111 days away
Can you please post a review on the hotel when you get back.It seems to get mostly good reviews.

We're staying at the Moreyo - it's at the back of the Levante on the road to the harbour. We got a FAB deal with Travelrepublic.
Walked past it many a time and CBG and Tippi have stayed there so I'm really looking forward to it

Lordy it's quiet on here these days - when this was set up 2 years ago we were always on - mind I think most of us Cala Millor/Cala Bona lovers hijacked it a bit 
6 weeks today and we
in fact as I type ,in 6 weeks time we will (hopefully) be sat on the plane at Newcastle getting the safety talk whilst taxi-ing to the start of the runway.
I'm just praying for the bus at aircraft when we land at Palma as I HATE that walk from the gate to baggage reclaim.

PS - Anyone else off to Cala Bona/Cala Millor/Sa Coma/S'illot this summer?

I think still we're all waiting to get in the holiday mood.All this rotten weather,exchange rate awful.Also going to Cala Bona for the third time since 2003.First time we stayed at the Sur,Last year at the Bahia Azul and this time at the Cala Bona Hotel.Love it around the harbour and the walk along the promenade down to Cala Millor.Will call and see Hector if he's still at the Moreyo.We met Tippi at the Moreyo last year

Your wishes have been answered. Almost all UK origin flights are now landing at the "new" terminal (actually I think their very first terminal) and the walk is much shorter now!

Its 7 weeks(yesterday) to our hols, we are off back to San Pedro in Cala San Vicente for some peaceful R&R Anyone else going? Wherever you all go, have a great holiday

Virginpaul - that's very good news indeed! I remember doing the walk when our twins were 7 months old and were strapped into baby carriers on our fronts with backpacks on our backs and a lively 4 year old to contend with ~ I thought we'd reach the sea before we hit baggage reclaim!
Fenderman - haven't stayed at the Cala Bona Hotel but it looks lush from the front and those views across the harbour will be to die for! You'll be able to people and boat watch to your hearts content.
Peye ren - I have no idea but would suggest you post your question on the flights/airlines board - there's a chappy on there who should be able to help.
Colin - have never been to Cala San Vincente - I like the idea of R&R - don't think we'll get much of that with a 10 year old and 6 year old twins but I can always dream

Off to Santa Ponsa 9 weeks today with the fiancee'. Really cant wait now, havent been to majorca since i was a youngster, as we normally do benidorm, or los boliches/fuengirola on the costa del sol.
We are staying in the delfin siesta mar, which i am led to believe is down the quieter end of the resort. Just hope there are a decent selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance, as we are going self catering.
Have seen photos of the beach and it looks very nice, so just need the good weather now.
Have any of you guys/gals got any reccomendations of things to do or places to eat/drink in the resort?

We will be at the Cala Bona hotel on 9th May for one week, anyone else going to be there then, we could all have a beer together
Ah that's a shame Majorca08 - we're in Cala Bona 27 May otherwise would have loved to have a meet up. CBG is out at the same time as us and we're going to organise a meet-up which will be great!

can anyone have a look at the bonamar hotel while there was thinking of going as have never been in cala bona and sounds good . going to ibiza first es cana the paraiso beach hotel in aug
