Hi Everyone I've been on here for ages now and realised that I haven't introduced myself yet, I've been a big brave girl today and have posted a review of the Riverside Regency Resort in Baga (fantastic by the way) and as I'm feeling brave I might even do a trip report this year anyway I'm Donna, 34 years old - sorry young - I have no children and am not married, I live in Northamptonshire and this year was my 5th time to Goa I'm going to keep on going till I'm 100 I think. I am one of the BBB (Bacardi Breezer Brigade) and all I do on my holiday is lay in the sun, so if I do a report I will try and make my sunbathing as interesting as possible .

If you've been a member on here for ages - then surely you must have read something of interest to entice you away from your beach bed and Bacardi Breezer?

Hi everybody my name is Pauline im 44years old {just had to think then and not lie normaly tell people 37] HA HA. Anyway here goes ive been married to my lovely husband jimmy or 24 years . we have 1 daughter who is 20 who normally tags along on all our holidays. but not this time back to goa for our 3rd time in 3 days. Ive been reading the forum for quite some time now and decided to take the plunge.
Im 59yo.Married twice second time has lasted 22yrs,so I must have been doing something right.
We fell in love with Altinkum (Turkey) some 15ys ago,but on our last trip there we were so dissapoined. It had turned itself into Blackpool.
This will be our first time to Goa,although I have been to Bombay during my time in the merchant navy.
We are hoping to find a NEW Altinkum,my fingers are crossed.
Hello Holimaniac, this is a great forum everybody is really friendly, when are you off to Goa? and where will you be staying?
Staying in Cavelossim.
Yes this is a great site, everyone very helpfull.Iv found it very helful as this is our first visit to Goa.
Cant wait.
You will remember me if you met me - im the one that broke out with chicken pox, 10 days into the holiday
Anyway, after holidaying in Goa as a couple the last few years, my boyfriend and i have now decided we would like to take our kids next year, but after checking out prices, im astonished how much more we have to pay for flights and accomodation. What happened to children being under 16 and paying a child fare! It seems now, anyone over the age of 12 is an adult - which means full fare! gggrrrr - and if thats not bad enough now my 13 year old son has thrown it in my face that now he is an adult he wants to buy ME a beer and let him have a tattoo
I can feel so many internet searches are on my agenda over the next few months lol
Welcome to the forum Kells
thats a coincidence, TWO reports of chickenpox on the forum.
I know what you mean about prices - we're lucky that it's just the two of us becuase i don;t think we could afford to take kids too.

Hi Christine , I am pleased you like this forum , it is so addictive (just like Goa!) , I am sure you will enjoy Candolim , we stayed there at Xmas and loved it , at least you don't have to wait until March like me !!!!!
Hi ShirleyV, at least i've only got to wait till November!!!!!
Hi. I'm Simone. I'm 39 and married with 2 young children. At the moment I'm a stay at home mum though I was an immigration officer. My big passion is travel and I try to get away at least 5 times a year. Last year I came back to the UK after living in Spain and went off to Goa again for the first time in 4 years. I have the bug again. I have been to Goa about 15 times, both with my other half and as a lone traveller and love it more every time. I love this forum and have been reading it for a couple of months without posting. It's so nice to see that there are other Goa fanatics in the World.
sounds like a great life Simone I'm glad you plucked up the courage to post at last!
