We've been to Kerela a few times and the States many times, but first time to Goa is this Christmas. We are not really beach and pool people and love going off the beaten track, but we also love all the theme-park stuff in Florida. One extreme to the other...

My turn! 28 yrs old, married to Jon last year (had a blessing at Ganesh temple near Arpora). Recently got back on 3rd Dec which was our fouth time to Goa. Can't imagine not going now - I miss it already!
Originally from Goa, I grew up in an old Portuguese mansion, largely believing that Goa was a separate country from India, until I had to move out to study. My home was in New York for a while, and I hopped across to London for a bit (where I met Roque), but with the rise of the Tiger (India), am based in Mumbai for a while. Will probably live here for some time until the Commonwealth Games. Living in Mumbai, we snatch every odd weekend with the children in Goa, driving down each time. In the last year that I have been here, we've been to Goa at least twice a month. It's hugely addictive and when you can just jump into a car and drive down, it's the best thing to do on a weekend!
We travel a lot, thanks to our work, which is HR consulting and Quality Controls (in Hospitality), and have been to a number of places - Mauritius, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Korea, Thailand, Seychelles, UAE to name a few. We've found that work and pleasure do mix, so if we have never been to place before, we take a few days off to explore. We love going off the beaten track and walking down the streets of any place, just to get a feel of the place. I love eating, drinking, reading, being a kid with my kids, cooking (not necessarily in that order) and living life king-size. And as you can see from this post, I love writing.
Thanks for being so patient.
Tanya
