Madd_Haggis,

Have you got a flight number so I can check the aircraft type for you? Are you on the MYT055/6 service? If so, MYT are operating those flights with the Boeing 767-31K's which don't have seat back IFE. The A332's are fitted with seat back IFE throughout. This is the seating plan.

Hi we are travelling on friday with my travel booked through panaroma, however only staying for one week and were hoping to take the one suitcase between, the baggage allowance is 20kg, is this per person or per case? I suppose its due to people handling the cases if its per case.
Would appreciate any advise.

Groovee,

MYT045 is serviced with a Boeing 767-31K. Hot drinks are approx. £1.50, water £1.50 a botlle (500ml), 150ml cans approx. £0.70. You get the idea!

andy1975,

Seats are pretty much all the same on comparable aircraft. It depends which flight you're on, one is normally operated by a 763 (MYT111), the other an A321 (MYT195). IFE is listed on Recline, MYT's magazine.

Hi there,

Can anyone help?

I am flying to Orlando on MTT055 on 14th Sep and returning MTT056 on 28th Sep. I am flying from Glasgow and have booked Premair Gold Seats. I am concerned about a few things;

Does this flight go via Belfast (I checked on my travel website and it doesn't look like you can fly to Orlando from Belfast that day?)

If this isn't an Airbus and is a Boeing, will this have an affect on the Premair Gold Seats/ TV Screens.

My daughter has a disability and will require Physiotherapy during the flight, which part of Premair Gold should I ask to be seated in for privacy reasons?

Are the toilets in Premair Gold at the front row or back row?

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks

TIDA,

MYT055 is being serviced with a Boeing 767-31K at the moment so its likely your flight will be as well. It seems the flight operates via Belfast. The aircraft has premier gold seating but doesn't have seat back IFE installed. You'll get hand held devices instead. Toilets are located in front of row 1 or you can use the ones in the economy cabin by the L/R2 doors. The premier cabin is located at the front of the aircraft and is seperate from the economy cabin. There are appox 38 seats. It'll be worth contacting your travel agent / My Travel to request the medical seats and discuss your needs.

Hi there,

Thanks for that. Just phoned them and they advised although some of their flights do go via Belfast, this one doesn't.

They told me that althought the screeens are hand-held, it's the same programme that is available on the airbus, can anyone confirm this?

Finally they advised that the seat pitch will def be 36, I have read 35 for Boeings, any ideas?

Many Thanks
Tida

TIDA,

That makes is easier if they go direct rather than a stop-off in BFS, an hour less flight time either way. MYT premium seat pitch is quoted as 35" so I don't know where they get 36" from. Doesn't really matter, you'll not notice it anyway. The hand held IFE will have the same as the A332's, they only pay for so many films / programmes at one time so they show them across their fleet.

Have a great time,

Darren

TIDA our son has a disablity and we fly out in a couple of weeks time on the same type of plane I think (we are also flying Premair for this very reason) if you want to PM me around the end of July I will let you know how we get on. we have to phone MY Travel 1 week before we fly to go over all our sons medical needs.

After the merger of Thomas Cook & MyTravel group into Thomas Cook Group plc, it was announced today that MyTravel Airways will be merged into and operate as Thomas Cook Airlines. This is expected to be from winter 2007.
