Simple... just call the telephone number on your original invoice (0870 385 0033) assuming you booked with Aegean Flights and quote the Ref No. Have your Credit or Debit card at hand.

We have just booked our Onur Air flights this evening, no mention on the confirmation of any fuel supplements. We did have to pay CC charge was only about 4 quid.

thanks for the tip Jh4x but I think I will just sit tight and let them ask me for the extra money :cheers

We fly August 1st as well from Manchester, I too will wait to be asked for the money, if I don't receive a bill before I receive the tickets I will make sure I have enough money on me just in case at the airport.

im flying with onur in august just checked my online booking and a £10.94 fuel surcharge for each passenger been added.i booked flights 14 months in advance with price of fuel rocketing its understandable.

I would check your terms and conditions,

Unless it is stated that due to surcharges you will be charged extra then you should not be. there should be an amount that they will absorb and then you get charged after that. that is what we do and i work for a tour operator.

But they shuold have sent you a letter stating this and not all people have the means of checking through the internet.

T&C's do state they have the right to surcharge for Fuel increases and any taxation changes as long as the surcharge is greater than 2% of the price paid.

Our flights were £178 so basically any increase over 3.56 is chargable. I believe the surcharge they are requesting is £5.94 for fuel plus a £5 admin fee per person making the £10.94

becci,

Alcohol is served by Onur Air. I enjoyed a can or two of Efes when I last flew with them and they were also serving spirits.

hi guys flying with onur air 3 weeks today, looking at the glasgow airport flight departures flight ohy 436 supposed to leave glasgow at 20.45 it is now leaving sunday at 08.00 what a nightmare?hope all is well on 3 weeks time when i go this is the first time booked diy and to be honest with all the hassle of fuel surcharges 2 flight changes which i got moved back to original booking will probably be the last, any one experienced delays with this airline!.....cheers

nubber,

Welcome to the world that is Onur Air!! Delays aren't uncommon unfortunatley but they seem to be better than they used to be. I've experienced delays with them on 50% of the flights. Nothing serious, up to 1.5 hours. I don't use them anymore though. TC-OAG/O (Airbus A300B4-605R) have operated OHY436/5 so far this month on a Sunday. The flight on 4th May was logged at 0905, last Sundays (11th) at 0845 so not too bad. I wouldn't let this experience of DIY holidays put you off future ones. Just put it down to experience, other airlines are generally less hassle.

becci,

I can't comment pre-2006, but they certainly have since then. It is Efes they sell, it's quite nice isn't it :cheers Duty free was limited to alcohol and tobacco the last time I flew with them. Their onboard shopping was quite limited. Others who have flown with them more recently maybe able to provide a more up to date answer.
