We booked flight only (through Goldtrail) and when the tickets arrived we're told to phone 48 hours before the return flight, to check that the times haven't been changed, but there's no phone number.
I'm sure someone posted a phone number here a month or two back, but I can't find it! Anyone any idea which phone number we're meant to use?
Thanks.
Not sure what number you need but you can contact Goldtrail on 0871 700 2121 and ask them, they are open today until 7pm.
Thanks
Mark
Goldtrail won't answer their phone!
We didn't phone them about the return flight, and it was bang on time.
No problems with either flight, plane or crew, and would use them again with no qualms.
we have booked with aegean flights so will be flying onur,
we have never booked diy holiday before,
i know we dont have meals with them now (flying 6th july 08)
but i have read some not very good reviews, we fly at 22.40
is there any difference flying night or day other than its dark.
bit wary of airline now, admittedly the reviews ive read are a little old have they improved any recently.
cheers pam xx
There is no difference between flying in the day or at night from a passengers perspective. The pilots are professionals and know what they are doing. I have reservations about Onur Air personally given my experience with them, but many others have good experiences.

Flying with Onur ex Liverpool 30th May and rtn ex Antalya 6th June - now a little concerned!!!!
Monday flights from Dalaman to Manchester now depart Dalaman at 06:30 and not 04:30 as originally booked, (Our return flight is the 18th August) I have no problems with the change and actually expected a change booking so far in advance. I must comment it is nice to be informed early, XL last year were a nightmare trying to confirm new flight times when they had been obvously changed on the booking site but customer services would not confirm.
Our Friday outbound flight to Dalaman has not changed.
By accident I had already booked the room until the 18th and hadn't got round to changing the booking so luckly the kids can get 3 or 4 hours sleep late evening before leaving for the airport.
Dave
We have never had any delays and we definitely don't do meals!
We was also notified last week that our flights from Manchester to Dalaman had been changed on outward and inward,2 hours later. Now I have looked on their website that it has changed again both ways, for June,no doubt they will be issuing me again soon with another ammended invoice.
I have noticed the same, according to the web site flight home from Dalaman on Monday 18th Aug is now back to 05:25 arriving Manchester 07:55, flights out from Manchester are now showing as 09:00 on Mondays.
mines even worse, they have completely cancelled all flights from birmingham from 15th march to 26th april , so we have been put on a gatwick flight the day before, so had an airport change ,a flight time change and a departure date change. ive now got to either accept this and try and sort my car parking thats already booked for birmingham airport and hope i can change to gatwick although i know this will cost more, and contact the transfer company in turkey or get a full refund for my flights, not happy about this one bit as ive even got my tickets as we were supposed to be going in 3 weeks time. my husband is now going to lose a days wages being self employed and flight now a fri instead of sat i had booked and gatwick is about 20 litres in petrol further too ,so we are going to be out of pocket too . just hooe they dont mess with my aug flights i have booked with them , they have already changed them 2 hours which is fine
For anyone who doesn`t know there are no longer any meals on onur air flights.
onur are going out of manchester on the mon 26th may to dalaman check the date you booked
Monday is the 28th May???
Monday is 26th May where I come from!
So sorry Nuttynet and Luci - that will teach me to put my glasses on!!!! Denny
I just had a look at my flight booking on http://www.aegeanflights.com/ to check the flight times were still the same in August when I noticed a new section had appeared in my booking.
This states fuel charges of £10.94 per person, I have checked the T&C's and they have the right to do this but they also say when a surcharge is payable an amount of £5 per person will also be required to cover administration.
I am unsure whether the £10.94 includes the £5 admin charge.
I have not received an ammended bill yet from Aegean just waiting for it to arrive on the doorstep, has anyone actually been charged?
Finally, I don't have a problem with a fuel surcharge as prices have increased by $50 a barrel since I booked but I think the £5 admin per person is a bit over the top where I could understand an admin charge per booking, in the end all the names are on the same piece of paper and it's a case of pressing a few computer keys to update a booking record and print it, then the 30 seconds to stuff into an envelope and post it.
Dave
I already paid for my flight for june but no mention of surcharges there .Will keep an eye out and let everyone know if they sting me at last minute too,but this is really going too far for the airlines, theyve got us by the proverbials everytime and just keep upping the prices at will.I have just paid £966 for 3 to fly to dalaman in august ,i know its school hols but £50 of that was hidden charges that you only saw when you reached the final booking stage ie increase in baggage charges.and they wanted £10 per person to book on the phone when i enquired ,needless to say i booked online
Whilst I like everyone else do not like surcharges it is to be expected in the current climate. I was previously under the mistaken impression that once 8 weeks and counting had passed no surcharges could be added but I guess that must just be Package Holiday Companies.
