Well , made my decision - Villa Andreas for 2 weeks in July -from Gatwick Booked it this morning.
Sorry I have just noticed that you mention your daughter will dive 2/3 times.
There is a very good dive centre just 5 minutes down the road from you, just as you get to the main town beach on your left there is a Taverna set back from the road at the end of the beach called Villa Rosa and the dive centre is located just on your right.

Hi
let us know how you get on, 6 weeks to go for me
We are going to Parga for first time in two weeks. Are there cash points about town?
Hi
Yes you will find plenty ATM's in the resort centre so no worries there, I am sure you will have a great time in my favourite destination I wish it was me going.
Well worth letting your bank know that you are going so as you don't have any problems when you get there.
Have a great time
Graham
Does anyone know if Poseidon diving are up and running?
No replies to e mail.
iallen - not long now !
Thanks for all the help - Parga to morrow
As far as I am aware they are still operating normally, you will find them just opposite the Villa Rossa at the end of the town beach.
Thanks Graham - getting excited now - will let you all know our findings !
Say hello to Bettina and Mike for me.
To get back to Parga, we are intending to go back next year as there are so many places to see still. We are nature lovers and the photo oppotunities are great. We went last time the first week in May, beginning of the season, and were given such a welcome when we walked to Mara Studios from the residents lining the street we were quite overcome. We were nice and close to Yiannis' restaurant which was great after a day exploring and swimming. Have to say, we never used the beaches at Parga, though OH went down to dolphin watch first thing while waiting for the morning warm bread. We found a desertad spot where I felt comfortable and loved it. I don't think there would be enough for us to do for two weeks if we didn't have a car, but please, if you don't mind driving, get out and explore. There is so much to see and it was so nice to come back to such a friendly village in the evening, for a relaxing meal and a natter. In short, there is so much to see and do for us in Pargs and the surrounding area, we have no hesitation in returning so soon.
Don't know about things for kids though, don't know any!
Just back from Parga and the Villa Andreas ( which is superb and Bettina could rule the world !!)
Had a fabulous first week and then eldest daughter went and got appendicitis so after emergency surgery in Preveza and a ban on flying by insurance we ended up staying for 3 weeks ! Fortunately we were able to stay on in the Andreas although Mike was all for sending us elsewhere
Graham , I am having one of my senior moments and can't see a review page for the Andreas - could you point me in the right direction again. You were right about Poseidon and youngest had 3 dives with Tassos who is a great guy
And as for the BBM club - not very exclusive is it - I think it took 30 mins on the first day for all of us to become life members!
Please post your review here http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/greece/epirus/parga/villa-andreas-studios/
BBM club is a regular cry, especially when you get the better of him, would Mike be sending you to the Hotel Alpha by any chance
Thanks for the link
Ah Lynne I had to search for your post . Not come across this section before .Now I know where you have been hiding . Really sorry to hear about your daughters appendicitis but sounds like you made the most from a nightmare . Now I'm going to have to investigate parga seeing as there's diving available.
