Discussions regarding holidays in Majorca.
We travelled to see the Pirates show from C'an Picafort and yes it was a long trip but definately worth every minute. The trip down wasn't to bad because we played games and sang songs etc with the rep. On the way back most folk slept (a combination of the time of night and all the alcohol consumed). Those that slept missed the most spectacular lightning storm above the mountain range that followed us all the way home. :yikes

Hi all :tup , coming to Majorca in just under 3 weeks time(cant wait) and this shall be my 5th time in Magaluf. Coming with my wife and 2 kids and want to take the kids to the pirates show for the first time. What I really want to know is if its cheaper to buy tickets for the show when I arrive or is it the same price(or dearer) as on the website where you can pre-book tickets. The price on the website was working out at approx 150 euros. Any info would be appreciated, many thanks. :cheers

Hi
I would try the outlets around the resort, sometimes they offer a discount, I have always booked online with Prima travel, they are based in Palma Nova. we have always got a 5% discount on door prices, we just walk up to their office and pick up the tickets before we go. Pirates only give a concession if booking 20 seats. Very enjoyable show.

Thanks for the replies :tup , think I shall just pre-book the tickets via their website and that way I am not using any of my holiday money that I take with me. ;)

We bought our tickets from the Pirates on site.
Our apratments were only a short walk from there.
We bought 2 adults and 2 children Main Deck, when we got there we found they had upgraded us to the Quarter Deck at no extra expense, including freebies for ids and mini bottles of Cava for us.
It was a great evening, and well worth the money.

I had the veggie option which was a lovely veggie lasagna.

Hi All

Unless there is a matinee show in the afternoon you will not be able to catch a bus, as the show finishes late.
Most holiday companies run trips to the pirates. You can book indepently and catch a taxi both ways but it will be very expensive. Hiring a car might work out cheaper.

Few years ago we went to Son Amar from Sa Coma, the aircon broke down on the bus and being only 6.00pm was still hot and sunny. Several people were ill througfh the heat and my youngest became violently sick to the point where we got off at a filling station and the coach driver and rep arranged us a taxi back to the hotel. The taxi driver was fantastic, blasted cool air at my son with his air-con and bought him the iciest bottle of water he could. The east coast resorts are a long way from these shows however the Son Amar was well worth it because we went the following year in our own hire car and i'm led to believe that the pirates show is superb.

Hi all, prices advertised for Pirates Adventure (not uncut later show) during June is
46 euros adult, 27.50 euros child for the Mid deck seats
59 euros adult, 40 euros child for quarter deck seats.
Pirates charge about 10 euros for their transport from Alcudia to the show.
No frills excusions also do tickets & transport and fairly similar in prices..
Once again, really recommend the show for all age groups! It's great fun and some fantastic acrobatics!

We travelled to Pirates from C'an Picafort a couple of years ago and it takes over an hour to get there but it was well worth it. We had a really good rep on the bus that kept us entertained for most of the way down playing games and singing songs and generally chatting to everyone. On the way back most people slept due to the time of night and the drink consumed! Pirates is a great night out and my kids still talk about it and can't wait to go back.
