parivor,

No need to pre-book meals unless you require a gluten free, vegan or vegetarian meal. You'll have a choice of two different meals, normally chicken or beef (but don't quote me on that!).

We got an e-mail from airtours telling us as we'd prebooked seats we could prebook the meals. The flight out offers Chicken and leek bake or tomato and spinach pasta. Burger and chips available for the kids. The flight home is roast beef, roast chicken, Leek and Vegetable pie or sausage and mash. That is on the Sanford flights for all Mytravel flights.

I've heard a few people saying they haven't had the choice in Premiar and have just been stuck with whatever was given to them.

We popped into our travel agent and they did it all on screen for us. They also said we could phone the pre-services reservation line and they could do it for us.

Hi, can anyone help. We have just booked a last minute deal, and our flight number is MYTO21 flying from manchester to dominician. What sort of plane should we expect and what will the flight entertainment be, televisions etc.

the coopers,

MYT021/2 is currently being operated, you'll be very pleased to know, by an Airbus A330-243. These have seat back IFE throughout. For a seating plan, click here. Recline, MYT's inflight magazine lists current entertainment, click here.

Have a great time,

See your original post over on the TCX thread. It is generally operated by an Airbus A321-200. For a seating plan, click here.

Hi Darren,
Just wondering if you know what type of plane we will be on - MYT51 Gatwick - Sandford, Orlando 31st August. What is the seat configuration on this plane please - any advice where to sit and /or where to avoid.
Thanks for your help.

JeanM,

MYT051/2 is serviced with an Airbus A330-243. Everything is per my post to 'the coopers' above. Where to sit is personal preference, everyone is different. Some like the pairs at the rear of the aircraft, but bear in mind you'll feel the sensation of flight more the further away from the wings (centre of gravity) you are. Personally, I like a window seat either infront or behind the wing for some nice photo ops, but that's just me!

Have a great time,

Hi

I am flying out to Sanya, China on the 23rd September from Manchester. Can anyone inform me of what aircraft i will be flying and what the current load is for the flight?

Thanks for any help!
Reply
AFRICALOVER,
Your flight should be operated on a Boeing 767-300 aircraft

Thanks Andy

Do you know what the load is at all? and how long the flight stops in Bahrain for?

Cheers for the info!

Andy_2006 / AFRICALOVER,

Andy are you sure about the 763? ACARS shows they are both being utilised on high density short hauls on Sundays so I would expect an A332 with its superior range to be used on the China flights?

AFRICALOVER, if you want me to check ACARS for you, let me have your flight number (if you have it) and I will do. We aren't at liberty to give out laod factor information even if we had it, refer to this thread. All I can say is the LGW flight was pulled due to poor sales for China as they have better alternatives from London. The MAN flight is faring much better. The aircraft will need to refuel at some stage and I would expect Bahrain to be the tech stop and crew change. A tech-stop is normally around an hour.

Hi Dazbo

Thanks for the information - i would certainly prefer to fly on the A330 rather than the 767 for a 15 hour flight. I usually fly scheduled - so this charter flight is going to come as quite a shock.

My flight number is MYT 085 going out and 086 return - departing on the 23rd Sept from Man.

I was enquiring about the load becuase that will determine whether we will upgrade to Premium or not...

Thanks!

AFRICALOVER,

Hats off to Andy, he was right. It is a 767-31K thats doing the China run. That's the problem with ACARS, its not always reliable. Searching for the aircraft reg's brings up plenty of movements but nothing for MYT085/6. When you search for the flight numbers directly, it brings up the reg's :bhead I supose a 763 makes sense in terms of seats, there are less on a 763 than the 360 on the A332's.
