No, it wasnt Rosemary Conley. It was called something like the 'Fat Unit Diet' and I think the magazine was called, Slimmer. Found a few bits and bobs on it at home, and its basically eat less than 30g of fat per day, and sensibly otherwise.
I will keep my research up and let you know if I come across any more info on it, I remember it was easy at the time, but old age and memory loss doesnt help

Im back I had a brilliant time as well. I took your advice and didnt worry too much about what I ate but tried to be good during the day (although I did have to have the "lays" crisps) but I did eat what I wanted on the evening plus I enjoyed a few vodkas. I havent been weighed yet but judging by my clothes, I dont think I have put too much weight back on.
Anyway, its back on the diet tomorrow (I have had an extra holiday day today with my husband and had a final pizza for my tea ). Weigh day on Tuesday so I will let you know the dreaded results of two glorious weeks of indulgence in the sun.

So glad you had a great time - I am sure you will be ok when it comes to weigh in next week.
However being good on holiday (I only put 0.5lb on) has back fired on me a liittle. Since coming back from holiday I have still felt in the holiday mode and I have put on a further 1.5lbs which I know doesn't sound much but I need to get 'back on track' Went to class last night and went back to week 1. I have 10 weeks to get to a reasonable target and that will set me up for Christmas - I know it is a 'naughty word' so today it was day 1 for me.
I know what you mean about the Lays crisps. I liked them also.
I am going to go on line and 'dig' out some new recipes and plan ahead, also make some of the soups which have worked wonders for the members that have been having them.

Hey i have 5.5lbs to go and i have lost 50lbs, do you think i can do it before i go away i have 2 more weigh days left?
Hopefully you will do it before holidays (good luck!!) but what an achievement anyway! How did you do it ?

i'm on weight watchers, and i will stay on it till i get to my ideal weight.
Well done lovethesun thats a fantastic achievement, i stayed the same at my weigh in om Thursday as i was the previous week that'll teach me to think the odd 'little' treat here and there wont hurt
Back from being weighed last night and im in shock . I dont know how ive managed it, after what I ate on holiday, but I managed to lose ½lb ! The thing is, ive eaten worse in the week between coming home and being weighed last night so im at a loss.
Im not going to knock it though and this may mean that next week it could all swing back and I could put on 5lbs but as long as im careful this week .....!
Next holiday is Christmas and ive still got a stone to chip away at before then

Sarah you did well, I have been 'naughty' since coming back from holiday (think because I only put on 0.5lb I have been saying to myself well I did it then so I will be ok) and have put on a small amout. lost only 0.5lb this week and as you say it is Christmas next - 90 days to go!!!! Hoping to shed about 20lb!!!!!!
Found a lovely recipe for a soup that has rice in it and the following day is was so thick it was like a small meal, success stories last nigh at classt seemed to include lots of soups so that is what I am going to make.
Keep up the weight loss everyone and speak soon.

Well my 'bad weekend' last weekend didnt do me too much harm - i lost 1.5lbs at weigh in tonight...not fab but in the right direction and if i had done some exercise and eaten with a bit more caution at my nieces b'day on Sunday i'm sure i could have done better

Well I've finally got myself back into some discipline and lost 4lbs this week
(six over a fortnight) which means 3 to lose before my 4 stone mark
Aiminig to have lost 4 1/2 stone by new year and another stone for summer hols so going to need lots of support
Wonder how much we have lost between us - it feels like a small village!!

I realised when I was packing to go on holiday this year that I had lost in weight over the equivalent of the weight of my hold luggage (which is 44lbs. I have lost 46.5lbs). What an achievement :cool:. I never thought it would happen. So yes, I wore that bikini with a smile

Hope you's don't mind a new one here, just discovered this link!!!! what a great site for that extra bit of motivation and encouragement.
Since the end of April this year i've lost 44 pounds through slimming world, don't get me wrong it hasn't been an easy ride but i can finally see that tiny glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Keep up the good work everyone you's are all doing sooo fantastically well.
