How do I get to Panjim?
Where is panjim in relation to varca beach or tanborim Can we go by skooter or is it best by taxi?

Panjim market, every day in the center of town by the river, near the new Inox cinema complex, just ask any local for directions. A good place for cashew nuts and the fish market is well worth a look.

Go as early as you can to Anjuna to avoid the crowds and the heat. It is much more bearable and you can lose a few hours wandering around. It is a shame there are no more 'hippies' there anymore, I wonder what happened as it seemed to be full of either Kashmiris or Rajastani women these days.

my family & i are off to candolim next year for the first time was wonderig what the best markets are for things like boys t shirts & dress jewellery also when they say a price what should you offer (Like half or third) have not got a clue dont want to be seen off many thanks
I usually buy some nice designer shirts every year at "Happily Unmarried" or the new shop "FabIndidia" and they cost 300 - 500 Rs.
Even at Saturday Night market you will still have to pay the same price for these shops.
However anything else is only worth about 100 Rs maximum.
