trixxy, probably, but don't worry, they all speak very good english
Well im glad the hotel has some better reviews then the ones i've read before!Sorry to sound like an amatuer but what do these meet ups consist of??
The meet ups are just so you can put faces to names and have a good old chin wag, you can also tell each other of the places to go and not to go.
What date do you arrive PM me

I have just come back from Goa and there are snakes on the hotel grounds. One poisonous snake slithered into the reception and they said it was deadly, even the man in the reception jumped on the desk. Then it calmly slithered back out into the greenery. I have seen another snake by the old well at the back of the swimming pool just to the right.
So please be careful!
Oh dear trixxy, if you don't like mice wait till you see the rats
Don't let them put you off, we live out here and i hate snakes, i cringe even talking about them, but i have learnt that they are more frightened of you, than you are of them and they will avoid you if they can, you will probably go through your whole holiday without seeing one snake.
In the last year i think i have only seen four snakes and a couple of rats ( like the ones who are trying to scare you).
You will have a great time.
Mike
We were situated directly above the bar, this closes when the ast person goes home, there was a chap there with his two young children, they were regularly up until around 5.30am watching cartoons on the tv, played at full blast and directly under the apartment. We then had the added pleasure of the owner of the hotel deciding to hold his private party there, we had the pleasure of very loud trance music during the afternoon, this steadily got worse throughout the night until 5.30am th next morning couldnt put up with it any longer. He was holding forth behind the bar, offered me a drink in way of compensation and took his party outside around the pool and into the little pub.
We did register a complaint with reception, just to be given the excuse 'ah it was Raoul's private party'. I think the guy needs to consider his paying guests a little more. We had a few more days of his 'trance' afternoons - finally holiday reps happened to be around when it was going on and to be fair they did seem to sort it out and things then quietened down to a reasonable level. I have no problem with people enjoying themselves on holiday and like a late drink as much as anyone else but night after night without sleep is just too much.
As I said our apartment was fine, when we complained we were offered alternative rooms in K block, no way would I accept a room there, They are just awful - closely resembling a prison cell and they stink of damp.
The grounds to the hotel are fine, didnt see a single snake!!! the pool is nice and the staff in the main are helpful, although there are one or two who are very unsociable and rude.
The walk from the hotel up to the main road can only be described as a nightmare!!! the road can be extremely busy and you do have to take great care. The taxi drivers outside the hotel are nice and helpful, a little pricier than on the main road but they can't do enough to help you.
It is not the worst hotel in the world, but I personally would prefer to stay beach side of the main road in future
We stayed there 3 years ago and as with you there were good & bad points and we would not go back again, there are so many places that are much better value without the downsides.
I hope you have a great time.
Looks like the rubbish tip alongside the Candolim - Nerul road is to be cleaned up and a new footpath laid.
Apparently Mr Kingfisher (Veejay Mahlia) doesn't want his pals to drive past this eyesore en route to his New Year party, and he is paying for the work to be done.
I wonder where the locals will dump their rubbish now?
Thats great news
has anyone got any photos of the room interiors or stopped in one?
booked today, off on 25th february!!!!!
