I must tell you this about this scenario:

My son rung me earlier to say he had got his travel money(he's not been to Goa before).
He has all his money in RUPEES. :yikes

I think this visa business has got to us all we are all going round the bend.

He will now have to put them back into his account and take cash i think its too late to get T/Cheques.

He won't be allowed to take RUPEES into the country.

..I have just checked the track/trace and guess what;
WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR ITEM AND EXPECT TO DELIVER IT BEFORE THE GUARENTEED TIME ON THE 21/11/07.

Its getting close now i'm trying not to get all excited QUITE YET.

Looks like getting my suitcase packed after all.

I think if your son goes into a Travel Agent/Bureau he should still be able to get travellers cheques in time, I believe that they keep them in stock.

Great news sleeps i am going to stop worrying about you now,im wondering where is this backlog all agents are on about,people who are going feb have got visas back and they posted them november,every time i ring agent up it is another week,any way enough moaning let hear the good news tomorrow.

Glad its all come good for you and your worries over your visas have gone.( regarding your sons rupees) I have just give my mate 8000 rupees (about a £100) to take with him as we are not able to go this year :cry:

.He's going in about 3 weeks for his 1st visit, we have always brought rupees home with us so we dont have to bother changing any at the airport for taxis when we arrive the next time...Keith
