Well I managed to loose 1 .5 pounds this week .big deal but at least its moved in the downwards direction ;)

I dont know if anyone remembers me but i used to come on to have a chat ( cant remember if it was last yr or the yr before now :really ) How bad is that !!!! I see hbrac is still here :tup Where has joolz gone too :que
Well......... I am worse than ever i have gained about a stone and a half since cala dor ( thats 3st i have to lose to get to target now). I joined back at slimming world last wed ( I am like the bad penny of the group, go missing for months and then show up with an enormous gain) I lost 3 and 1/2lb this week i am hoping for 2lb next week but we shall see. I feel really positive at the moment but that may have something to do with going to salou in june.
How is everyone doing with there weight lose?? I see a lot of you are on SW too. Maybe you can give me afew tips for some nice recipies.
Nice to be back ( just wish i had not gone to far with the gaining) Never mind i have gone back now and it IS GOING to come OFF!!

Now ,me being here is not good seeing as you remember me from last time round..but hey..I've been away...been at target...gone up again....got through Christmas and am now paying the price...so welcome back and round 2 !!
I have weigh in tomorrow and think I will have put on a pound.
Joolz is still around.

Very well done again. Finding it very hard to forget Christmas is gone but managed to lose a 1lb. Better than nothing . Really have to knuckle down as I have 2 weekends away in feb to fit into clothes for so wish me luck !

Hope everyone is doing well. I agree that christmas was a big blow out (then again i started the festivities much sooner like in early oct) :duh I am really dreading feb as i have birthdays on the 5th,25th and 27th not to mention a anniversery on the 20th plus valentines day OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! i can feel myself going into a panic attack as i think of it. I really cant be trusted to drink cos i cant keep myself out of the chippy, And if i manage to i snowball from there going out. I CANT COPE :cry I am going to try my best though.
How did you get on with your weigh in hbac!!! well i hope.

i've only lost 1lb this week after a 5lb gain over xmas - a bit gutted because I thought I had been very good.
Been equally as good this week and hope to stay off the hard stuff @ the weekend so should see a bigger loss with any luck.
I have about another stone to lose having lost 1st 4lb already - this should be done by the time I go to to turkey in August.

As I thought. 1lb on despite my walking for 40 mins 3 times this week. I will have to cut down to below 10 syns a day.15 is just no good. I did feel a bit sheepish at group which was heaving today. Must try harder !!

you all should have watched jamie oliver on wednesday night,if that doesn,t get you on to healthy eating nothing will.

your welcome :tup I know how hard it is to diet have been doing it all my life,as i have reached more mature years have realised what a waste of time it all is but funnily enough my weight has settled and I am now a size 12.I don,t advocate losing interest in yourself because I am a firm believer in always looking your best but sometimes I think we are to hard on ourselves

Hi everyone
I cant sleep so i thought i would come for a little chat. I was really worried about feb cos i always mess it up then as i have 3 birthdays and a anniversary and valentines day (not to worried about the latter) but i have talked the kids into having there days out together and we going to the sandcastle waterpark in blackpool so thats some exercise for me too ( only thing is i have to wear a costume :oops: ) I have told hubby for our anniversary i will cook a nice meal probably a SW mixed grill so i am safe that day too, and i will save my sins for a drink on his birthday so hopefully i should have it sussed this february (first time ever for me). Fingers cross :tup Kerrie

Thanks lynn I am really proud of myself as it happens :tup because i normally just say to hell with it and end up messing the whole of feb up with lots of gains for the sake of 5 days that are spread out over the month. Its when i have a drink i either eat what i shouldnt or snowball into drinking alot more over the weeks :cheers ( cant be trusted you see :duh ) Think i might have wine on my hubbies birthday as i dont really like it hence i drink far less than if i was on lager.

I will try my best and we shall see

Hi Everyone,
I am a 'happy bunny' stuck to the plan, wrote everything down and had my syns between 10 - 15 per day (good tip from our consultant start at the beginning of the week with your syns 70 - 105 and deduct as you use them) and I lost 2lb :D As I have said before I know this is the plan for me it is just getting my head around it and not 'giving in' at the weekend which has been a big problem for me.
Hoping for another good week.
Hope everyone is doing well and keep it up.

Hi all.
Well done Irene. 2lbs is a brilliant loss.

What a disappointment for me last night. I put on 2½lbs :oops:. I truely looked at the scales in disbelief and could have had a temper tantrum :yikes . I suppose I could have tried harder in some respects (I went out for a meal at the weekend and had chips instead of a jacket and a few vodkas) but I dont think I exceeded my syns for the week with that! Ive not picked at chocolate because, thankfully, its mostly gone. I dont know where it has all gone wrong.

Its back to the drawing board for me I think. Going to fill in a food diary for each day, measure and weigh (although I am good at weighing the things I need apart from milk) and hopefully, come Tuesday, will have a decent weigh in. Fingers crossed anyhow!

:cry GUTTED!!!!!!!!! I have tried really hard this week ( only 2nd) And i only lost a pound :duh I would normally be happy with this farther down the line but its only my second week. I am disapointed because i have made some real big changes as when on plan before i would eat when i wasnt hungry because it was free and i can! Not this week though for instance normally if i was having savoury rice i would eat it as a snack ( whole packet) but i have been halving it and having some for lunch and some for dinner with chicken or fish and i have really cut down on my picking and stuck to breakfast lunch and dinner. Not to worry maybe it will show more next week. I hope so!!

Well done Irene on your 2lb loss thats BRILLIANT!!

Sarah I dont think you should have gained 2 1/2 either if its any constalation because if you cant have the odd meal out then whats the point. Maybe you are holding some water ( hope i am but i dont think thats the case for me)
