I really feel for you as we has horrendous time last year with same problems and ended up in horrible hotel, but we got moved to another hotel after afew days. Lot of hassle but worth it in end.
When we got back home we demanded a meeting with a manager at FC head office. We got a full refund and compo, so we are going on a free holiday this year.
Another alternative would be to see if you canbook a late deal with anyone and then get a refund on this holiday.
Have you tried ringing the booking line and explaining to their manager as they always answer when they think you are booking. Suprise suprise
