We were on the ground floor opposite the light house. We booked a kids suite and were so pleased with what we got. In an estate agent styley, on opening the front door there was the main open plan living / sleeping area. Small kitchens, fridge with small freezer compartment, sink, kettle, toaster and microwave and hod.
There is small table with four chairs and then the main queen sized (Large) bed. A dressing table, armchair and TV unit with DVD player. From here we could walk out onto to balcony area which has 3 chairs a small table and two sun beds. There is one large wardrobe with just enough space hanging space.
The kid's suite had two single beds and large drawer unit. Lots of floor space, two bean bags. There is a TV and Playstation and again you can walk from here onto the balcony area.
It appears that finishing touches and more building work is going on daily. For us it was very easy to ignore and by no means interferred with our stay. The gym and indoor pool along with spa and beauty salon were all open as was the splash park and high ropes.
just read on Trip Adivsor that men need long trousers in the restaurant at dinner ??? Is that correct ??
can you tell me if your balcony/terrace was open to the sun. On the pictures we have had posted it looks like the ground floor balconies are covered, is this the case?
thanks for your help
It appears the apartment types all vary, our balcony was uncoverd.
We have just come back from a two week stay at the Aliathon - our 10th visit
We were very impressed with the Fishing Village because when we last visited some 8 months ago, it was only just being built!! When we flew over before landing at Paphos airport, we could not believe our eyes
We had a tour of the Fishing Village and some of the rooms - they're fab.
The kids splash pool is amazing - if anyone can advise me how I can post some pics.......please help!! I have a few for you to see.
Me and my hubby are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking foward to going back on September 3rd for another two weeks - we are being greedy this year!!
By the way - this is a fab site.

If you go to Photobucket.com you can upload your pictures there, it will give you a URL for each picture and its just a matter of posting the URL's so we can click on them...that's easiest way anyway
I have just downloaded photobucket and uploaded some pics - but I haven't made enough posts yet
Any suggestions please?
Thanks for your welcomes xx
Under your pictures in photobucket there is a code which is called 'direct link', just copy and paste those codes into here

Thanks a lot Maggie.
Yes, thanks maggie the photos are great. Looks like you had lovely weather too! Hope you enjoy your next visit, you lucky one
We're really excited now, my little boy can't wait to have a go on the pirate ship (neither can his dad ). Only 20 sleeps now till we go.
Hope you don't mind, but I have a couple of questions
-Do men have to wear long trousers at night for dinner? If so, are denims allowed?
-We have booked a 2 bedroom delux, does anyone have any idea if they are in the old part or the fishing village?
-Were you able to get a late check out room? When we booked it wasn't an option.
Hope you have a lovely holiday
and as for the late check out i can answer that question as i wanted to book that to but it wasnt available so I emailed the hotel and they said that late check out can only be booked when you get to the resort and its subject to availability late check out is until 18.00 and they did give me prices but i seemed to have lost the email i am pretty sure it was about about 26pounds but i may be wrong on that figure i will email them again as i need to know the price too.... i know it worked out alot cheaper for the late check out then what it did to book the apartment for a extra night.
hope this helps
Joanne
"Thanks for the e-mail ,please note that you can have either late check out till 18:00 hrs price will be Euro 35.00 or 1 extra night with price of Euro 135.00 ,all the above arrangements can be done upon arrival both are subject to hotel availability."
ps thank you for the photos
can't wait now i've found this site and seen some great pics of the fishing village.
Thanks for the great photos. Nice to see photos of the original part of the complex. From the photos these look like they are in nice gardens maybe a little quieter than the fishing village area and the entertainment. Did you stay in one of these, were they OK? Cant wait to go now it looks lovely.
Swimming Pools:-
There are actually 3 within the complex
1. The "square one" as shown in Maggies photos - this has a deep area (1m+) and a shallow kids area separated by a plastic screen. It is the first pool you will see after you come through the reception area in the old part of the hotel. This was where my little boy had his FC swimming lessons.
2. The Lagoon Pool - this is a free-form pool with a shallow beach-style entrance (ie it is pale beige concrete not real sand!) This is also in the old part with lots of apartments around it.
3. The main horse-shoe shaped pool by the Lighthouse. This also has a large shallow beach-stlye entrance and a good quarter of it is only about 2 foot deep so perfect for little ones. I think there is a good photo of this in the first batch posted a couple of weeks ago.
There is also the separate kids splash pool and the play ground is behind that. You can just see it in some of Maggies pictures of the spash pool.
Long trousers for men for dinner - we did get told by another guest about this so my husband wore his jeans but I think you could get away with the 3/4 length style. They may change this policy as the weather gets warmer.
