Hi Not sure if posted in the right place so apologise in advance can anyone advise if I book flights with ryanair without luggage allowance and then decide that we do require luggage can we amend the booking online as can't find the answer on their site
Thanks
you need to click on the "manage my booking" (top left hand side on Ryanair.com) and once you have entered your booking number and security questions, at the bottome of the page you can select the option to add bags.
Hope that helps! Jules
Hi JUles
hi, we are a party of 16 flying from liverpool on friday, its a group booking if 2 of us wanted priority booking can it be done at checkin.
I tried to have online check-in with hubby taking luggage so he had to check-in at airport. The system would not let me do it so I had to make 2 bookings as I wasn't prepared to pay for nothing.
Anyway, I hope you'll be able to do it and please let us all know the result.
Have a good time away.

Ryanair postpones Edinburgh opening due to Boeing strike
Strike action at Boeing has forced Ryanair to postpone the opening of its Edinburgh base.
It has deferred the September 23 opening date for six weeks until November 5 because Boeing is unable to deliver new aircraft for new Edinburgh routes.
Ryanair's deputy chief executive Michael Cawley said: "We sincerely regret the postponement of the opening of our Edinburgh base but unfortunately the two new aircraft, which we had reserved for this purpose, are now indefinitely delayed due to a strike by Boeing employees."
"Passengers who were booked to travel on our new routes during this initial six-week period will be refunded over the next seven days.
"We sincerely apologise to all our passengers for the inconvenience caused by this forced change to our schedule."

See that Ryanair have flights for £1 for booking until Sunday but when I looked at the sight yesterday there was a warning so don't know what is going on. Offer was for Sept/Oct.
What was the warning, Sue ? The site seems to be working okay today.
When I did this the same situation was there/ Click for further info was advising against putting any personal details on their site as there was a breach in security. There was yet another option if you decide to go ahead then you maybe putting your self at security risk.
Didn't look today as I needed to confirm dates that suited my Son.
I would however have heeded this warning in any case as they were selling £10 flights and these are £1 valid until Sunday.
If it is OK then the security risk has been resolved. Thought it was worth mentioning anyway.

I just returned from Alicante and nobody was attempting to stop passengers from taking a carrier bag of shopping on board as well as a case, I accidently left one of our carrier bags on board but fortunately it only contained 2 free T shirts and half a sandwich so if you see Michael O'Leary wearing an Espana T shirt you know how he got it
The website news is full of postponements at new bases, blaming striking Boeing employees. I wonder!!??
Well of course it's Boeing's fault! Michael O'Leary wears teflon - nothing ever sticks to him!!
Never booked with Ryanair, just priced up £1 flights. How can they sell them at these prices with over airlines going bust?Am i taking a bigger risk booking them, than useing them Easyjet etc?
Did you get as far as adding luggage fees for hold luggage, check in fees, priority boarding, and their miscellaneous charges and taxes, let alone the fees for paying with a credit card? In the words of a certain Victor Meldrew .......... I don't believe it!
If we're travelling in a group do we all have to select airport check in if some of us are checking in hold luggage and some are not?
If anybody on the booking has to check in baggage then the whole party has to at £4.00 each way pp.
The only way around it is to make 2 bookings - those checking in and those not.

That's what I feared!
I've just booked flights to Gerona from LBA costing me 2 pounds, as an afterthought it occured to me that I could do some Christmas shopping in Barcelona so if I make another booking for the same flights in my own name would I be able to take 2 pieces of hand luggage ?
Trying to book RYANAIR flights but getting this security warning that there is a security alert.
It says that the security certificate is out of date and not to put any personal detains on the site as it could compromise my security offer is only available until 12 midnight to night.
Have tried calling all the RY phone numbers but everything is closed until the morning.
Sue
I am on Ryanair site just now making a dummy booking and seeing no such warnings. Are you sure that it's a genuine Ryanair warning, or could it be one of your own computer's security settings ?
