Hi all,

Ok, all booked now for 2 weeks next april, managed to get swim up room too. Have requested block 7 as I have been told it has the sun all day - we'll see if we get it

Thanks to everyone for all the advice which was welcomed & very helpful.

Only 6 months to go now......!!

We are going on 20th april - 4th may, did look at march, then decided on april.

It's our 1st time ever to Egypt, it sounds wonderful & hot

just what we like!

Hi everyone, thanks for the replies so far. Just wondered what sort of weather (how many degrees) we can expect in April (over Easter time) or end of May. Anyone know - never been to Egypt before, and would like the water to be warm. Thanks. Sue

Can't help you with the weather in April but we went on the 15th May this year for 2 weeks. It was in the late 20's and got hotter every day. There was a lovely breeze which I would have been lost without!

We are so looking forward to our holiday i cant wait we go to the Holiday Village on the 30th and we have 34 days and counting
So excited :yikes

anyone else going over there the same time ?
a friend of a friend come back from sharm 2 days ago and he said the weather is still hitting 30+
nice and hot still good good that's what i am looking forward to the heat and getting away from the freezing weather of England
very very nerves of the flight very very nerves :yikes

oh well we just cant wait
to all that have just come back hope you had a good time
and to everyone that is going in the next 34 days have a fantastic time over there :cheers

Going on the 4th december from east midlands read mixed revews about the holiday village hope i get it right going their has my hubbie did not fancy egypt i allways win where we go Just going for my birthday a quick get away before the winter come I think it has come early I will be takeing my 11 year old girl so lots for her to do then i will be happy

Hiya, We are going to the holiday Village on the 20th December for 2wks. Has anyone been at this time of year? Would love to know what type of weather to expect. First time in Egypt so would welcome any tips? We have booked a swim up room but hear the swim up pool is not heated? BRRRrrr. Will it be sunbathing weather? Would be really interested to hear of anyones experiences hear (Good or bad). Also worried about upset tummys. I know, I know....Questions...Questions....Sorry :que

were over there on the 1st Dec and we cant wait our first time to Egypt to and our first time on the plane LOL
have heard some bad stuff about the H/V but since May when it all started everything is coming back with good reviews
there are loads of bits and pieces there to do for kids as well
my Boys cant wait to get there
in the H/V there is the kids club's for all age's for mine they will be in the wavelengths club with lots and lots of things to keep the little angles busy :rofl

well you never know my see you over there

We were there last year from November 29th for 2 weeks and the weather was lovely.I only wore a light cardigan once.
The pools were freezing but the sea was warm.Its also a nice time to go as the hotel isnt full to capacity which I think was one of the factors for the poor reviews in the summer.

First Choice are the exclusive agents (in the UK) for the HV as far as i am aware, we returned last night after a week out there , i will post a review later but i'll sum it up in one word for now......................................................FANTASTIC!!!!!! :cheers

Although the Holiday village is only in First Choice brochures you can also book it direct with Eclipse.Thomson are now in partnership with First Choice so you can book at any of their branches.You can book it at any travel agent and I will use Thomas Cook to book it as I have a Thomas Cook credit card and they dont charge extra for using it.I also get points which are converted into pounds off my next holiday.Just get a few quotes from different agents and see who gives you the best price. :sun2
