Tangobunny. It's sunny, but a bit cool in the shade. I shouldn't think it will be pool weather, not for me anyway. OH says it's been lovely for the last few days.
Mate got back on Sat night and said it was really windy...contemplating taking trousers not instead of shorts
Just got back. Sunday was sunny, cool but not freezing at night.Monday went very cloudy mid day but did clear for a short while.Tuesday sunny all day but windy in exposed places.Long trousers and jumper weather at night.But I have a bit of a tan thanks to Geordie bar sun trap.
hi i have been told theres a hurricane in benidorm today about 2 hours ago and a forest fire in the hills anyone else heard anything like to keep updated lol
Very windy over most of Spain today. Roof collapsed in Barcelona at a Sports Centre 4 children killed i´m afraid and 16 people injured. Damage done to some property in Torrevieja and surrounding areas.
I have just watched our National news.
The worst of the weather in Spain is in the north.
Four small children, all aged under 12 were killed when a structure in a sports centre in Barcelona collapsed. 16 more were injured.
2 further people (one of them, a member of the Guardia Civil) have been killed by falling trees.
There are reports of 2 other deaths as well.
Benidorm is breezy, but with wind speeds no higher than 50mph, it cannot be described as a hurricane, and is not too bad by comparison.
P.S. As my English needs to improve, could someone please tell me what 'lol' means, as I have seen it lots of times written......as in the original poster's message?

its certainly far windier than just breezy.the winds are far more than 50 mph
im afraid its true about the forest fires.from benidorm it looks like the mountain is a volcano that has erupted with all lava coming down the side

That sounds awful I'm glad I'm not there now but roll on April when the weather should be better.
Looking at the web cam of Lavante the weather looks a bit stormy today.
