Well done I have been doing the same(time of the month) except I have been putting my little boys milky way stars in the freezer and they last longer!! I do this with a big bar of dark chocolate too as it is stronger and not as nice it tends to last a while BLUR! But hey those muller lights with chocolate are a blessing in disguise I'm glad they are 30p at the moment in Asda or I would be in huge debt :tongue

yes time of the month was my excuse too :D

We've got some of those mullerlights with choc in the fridge but i've not tried them yet, might be on the menu for after tea tonight. Had the banana one the other day, that was really nice. I find you need to keep something in you can have when you get the urge for something sweet else you just eat the kids lunchbox goodies. I'd forgotten about those magic stars, used to love them and milky buttons.

Think i've eaten myself sick of apples and bananas the last few weeks.

Not had a good few days - munchies big time - maybe time of the month?
Back on track today.
BF - 2 slices 400g W/M topped with Mushrooms and Beans
Lunch - JP with last night small portion left over Chilli
EM - 2 meat free burgers with roll and sweet potato chips
Syns - 1 small glass wine.
Really need to try and drink water.

The best thing I do to keep munchies at bay while cooking a meal is to have boiled eggs kept in the fridge I squirt a little bit of extra light helmans mayonaise on and it stops me reaching for the crisps or my hubby's white bread!! I'm shocking for picking while cooking and this has worked for me. I also keep meringue nests if I fancy a sweet tooth fix as they are only 2 sins then have a VFF muller yoghurt later for pudding! Well dont know if I will have lost this week but my jeans are very baggy in the tummy area so shape is toning up off all the excercise. :tup Six weeks til hols :sun2 so gotta keep it up. Good luck to all for weigh in this week

I've hit the mints now, just been in the kitchen and the urge to grab a chocolate bar was almost irresistable, luckily found a pack of mints but they've nearly all gone now. Maybe if I try my bikini on later that might urge me to keep trying harder.

Keep up the good work! :)

Hi all. Is is possible to lose a stone in 4 weeks :) . Going on a girly holiday (4 days in Majorca without the kids and hubbies). I've thought about doing Slimming World on-line (I hate going to classes). My friend's son has lost loads of weight (think he did the new diet not sure what it's called). My biggest downfall is wine; I love a couple of glasses every night (sometimes have the full bottle). :cheers. Bought a box of Hardys red to see if I can stick with one glass - probably will because I'm not a big fan of red wine :think ).
Thinking of joining a gym so I can swim every other day (will probably skip the gym though :rofl ).

Well done CazMicknTom I did exactly the same for my wedding I'm glad I bought a beautiful white bra cos all the photos of me signing my new signature show how much I lost from my bust as the dress was hanging off my boobs!! I couldn't get it taken in as the pattern of the embroidery would have been spoilt. Hope you have a fab wedding and a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness. x x x :cheers
I put a pound on this week so must try harder as only 6 more weeks to go!!

Hi All
Well done on reaching your target CazzMicknTom. Hope all goes well for your wedding.
Well think I need help if only a good telling off.
Went to class on Tuesday and STS -thats ok especially after the week I had but guess what I have carried on eating - white bread, cakes and at school a few staff leaving and a few buffets around, so this morning I thought I had better check stood on the scales this morning and eek - put on 5lbs only myself to blame so did a huge healthy shop - planned all this weeks meals and just hoping I can get rid before Tuesday - thats what I get for being naughty.
Also I have been doing quite a bit of exercising so thought I would be okay - training for a 28 mile cycle ride 3 weeks tomorrow in aid of leukemia.
Hoping the fact that I am on half term and on holidays for most of the week I can get myslef 'sorted' also not been on this site very much and need to post more often to keep motivated.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

Irene, at least your trying hard to get back on target :D Good luck with the training for your 28 mile cycle :tup

I only lost 1lb last week which I know is still good but when you've been (nearly) really good, you want more to come off :( maybe next week I won't allow myself the couple of treats like I had last week. Only problem today is we're having a bbq for tea.

i need to lose about a stone and a half before i go away. i'm not very good at sticking to diets though and i can't get out and exercise like i used before my husband got ill. don't know how i'm going to manage it but if i don't it will be a stay covered up holiday as my stomach looks like i'm 5 months pregnant at the moment.

Flossy - when is it that you are going away?
I am hoping to lose about another stone before we go away in July - if you want a diet buddy let me know - I follow Slimming World and as a vegetarian find it easy but need some more motivation as lately I have been easily distracted.
My problem areas are my tum and thighs. I know exercise is the key so hoping to get out and about a bit more. If you are unable to get out as much how about looking at a fitness DVD?

I need to lose about a stone and a half. Started my diet last week but failed miserably this Bank Holiday weekend :( . Joined the Holiday Inn leisure club for 3 months (just so I can use the swimming pool) so I am going to try and swim every day :yikes . I have joined Slimming World before but didn't stick to it. Can someone start a thread with their favourite SW meals???
Reply
I could but as a vegetarian many might not find them useful?
Let me know though.

 Irene I'm sure that many of the recipes could be adapted for us carnivores :tup

hi irene. i'm not going away until september but if i don't start soon i will keep putting it off and then it will be too late. had a look at SW but none of the meal suggestions really appeal to me. i'm wheat intolerant and also have other food allergies including cheese, onions and caffiene in all its forms.
