Other way around! It's 4 out of 6 that do have seat back IFE, only two that dont. They are as follows (once the configuration changes are complete):
G-OBYD (328Y / short haul, seat back IFE)
G-OBYE (328Y / short haul, seat back IFE)
G-OBYF (328Y / short haul, no seat back IFE)
G-OBYG (328Y / short haul, seat back IFE)
G-OBYH (328Y / short haul, no seat back IFE)
G-OBYI (283 / long haul, seat back IFE)

As you can see from above, the chances are 66%. It normally comes in from Palma before your flight (TOM2240/1) arriving at 1230.

I would be grateful for some advice please. We are flying economy with Thomson from East Midlands to Cancun on Wed 22nd July (last minute booking). We are supposedly Platinum (whatever that means) and have seats reserved together free of charge but have been told we can pay £10 return to book specific seats. I think the aircraft is a 767-300 and if so thought the seat layout was 2-4-2 but Thomson say it is 2-3-2. Can anyone confirm this please?
Also are there any seats for 2 people travelling together that are better than others that we should be looking for? I think I read somewhere that row 6 is good as it is the first row of economy behing premium and have premium seat back TVs? Is that right as it seems odd. Flight numbers are TOM 392 and 393.

Seating is personal preference, there's not much difference wherever you sit really. Row 6 is in the premium cabin on the former First Choice aircraft (rows 1-9); it's the first row of economy on the former Thomsonfly and is classed as extra legroom.

Flights are changing all the time at the moment. We're in the transition to the full summer schedule now that school holidays are upon on, hence the changes. It'll probably be changing frequently over the next week or two.

Well thanks for all your help in the last few weeks. Going for a group meeting now to explain to them everything thats going on in the holiday so there all clear! All they care about is that we get entertainment otherwise 10 hours is going to drag at 29" seat pitch.

Just wish the IFE was in the back of the seats!
