I have tried booking a bus transfer on the Alsa site,Alicante airport-Benidorm/Benidorm-Alicante,Sun/Sun. The time table states its a "Normal" service.I have entered all the correct details many times, even entering "All" services, but it keeps coming back as an error somewhere?
Anyone booked using their web site or can I book at Alicante on arrival?
I normally hire a car for the week but prices are a bit high now.
Thanks in advance Pipefitter.
coming from the airport you can pay on the bus.
The Europa ticket office has been closed for quite a long time. We get ours from the new bus station.
Hello all (again).. Looking into getting a transfer from Alicante to La Marina, San Fulgencio region and have had a response from Prestige tours that they do not operate south of Alicante airport - dissapointed in that one, they came with good reccomendation from this site. Have also been in touch with clydegrovegolf.com and the price quoted is 160 euros (£140 ?) return, which I dont think is too bad for 6 adults, has anyone had dealings with them other than I have read about on here, and are there any more that could be reccomended.
Clydegrove picked up my friends from the airport 2 weeks ago and took them back to airport this evening from Torrevieja. Very punctual!. Have only heard good things about them!. Think 160€ is good as otherwise you would have to get 2 taxis from/to the airport and would cost a lot more each way.
Unless I read it wrong a week ago when I was comparing transfers from Alicante airport to Benidorm. But Resort Hoppers price has doubled per person?
Just got a price for resort hoppa for september it was 21 pounds for 2 adults .Ididnt want to use them again as it took us over 2hrs in july try a2b transfers or shuttle direct a bit more but worth it Kind regards mazza
Thanks for the replies (late I know..) Has anyone else used clydegrove ?
They advertise on another forum that i use and people on there have recommended them! On time for my friends and worked out cheaper than getting 2 taxis to Torrevieja as there was 5 of them.
Can anyone please advise the cheapest method to get from Alicant to the Terralta Apartments Benidorm? Prices seem to range from around £22 return with TRAVELREPUBLIC (anyone used them, assume they contract out to someone else?) up to £150+ return for a taxi transfer.
Any help/advice on the best method for a reasonable price would be appreciated.
Thankyou
No probs with Travelrepublic. They use various companys, Resort hopper are having bad time at the min not picking people up to take them to airport( so i have herd ) if has never happened to me. Taxi `s arnt cheap id go for Travelrepublic best prices at the min. Have a good holiday.
http://www.prestigetoursspain.com/ who charge €100 return. We have used them on several occasions and the service is top class. The transfer is exclusive to you so you go straight from the airport to your hotel, no messing around dropping people off on the way.
Sue
If there are up to 4 of you and you want a hassle free transfer then I would thoroughly recommend Sue
I would also recommend Prestige Tours. I've used them a few times now, and wouldn't use anyone else, straight to your hotel/apartment...excellent.
My dad is arranging to meet us at the airport but was wondering if we will actually collect our luggage in Terminal 2 and come out of the exit there or will we transfer to Terminal 1 baggage collection and exit from Terminal 1
Tried looking on the maps but can actually see a baggage recliam at Terminal 2
If anyone has recent experience of arriving into T2 I would appreciate some help
On screen info is currently Terminal 2, Lounge 3, Belt 22 if that helps
Thanks in advance
Andrea
You will get your bags in terminal 2 and have to walk to 1 to get picked up or get who ever picks you up at 2. I think its quicker at 2 than 1. Have a great time.
Spike.
Me, hubby and two sons had transfer from Alicante to Terralta with Travel Republic this year (28 July). Cost us £51 return (although I did book it at the beginning of the year). The coach was ready there waiting for us (only a few families on) and we were straight off. The past two years we have always been first drop off and last pick up on the return journey (think the coach company was A2B - Shuttle Direct) Lovely, clean coaches, well-driven by pleasant drivers. Would use them every time.
Hope this helps, any more info required, please feel free to ask.
Have a fab holiday (I'm envious - wish we were going back again). We've been to the Terralta three times.......................and are thinking about a fourth!!!!
Happy Holidays
Best Regards
Elaine
I'm looking for a transfer to Benidorm from Alicante airport. On this site I saw that Viajes Alameda Shuttle Direct) was recommended. I would like to know if they are reliable and how often do they leave the airport as I wouldnt want to be sitting around for a long time. Any help on the topic would be most appreciated.
Hi aliuk ... you will find lots of references to Shuttle Direct / Viajes Alameda in this topic. No need to read the whole topic, you can use the Search facility in the bottom left hand corner to retrieve posts by company name.
