People on here can only tell you the times of your flights based on what is most likely already available to you - the times given to you by your travel agent / tour operator. Airlines can change their schedules according to business demands at any time. You are travelling during the winter holiday period (Nov-Apr) and it may be that the final scheduling for flights during this period has not yet been finalized. Unfortunately for you, many tour operators of charter flights will usually hold a clause somewhere in their terms and conditions that says that flight times can be subject to change. Even if one of the people responsible for scheduling were about these forums I am sure even they would not be able to answer your question in the knowledge that they could still change between now and then. If and when there is a change then your Travel Agent will inform you of it.
With regards to purchasing train tickets, the only thing I could suggest is to either purchase a ticket that is more flexible that you can change (I know these are usually more expensive), buy a ticket that gets you there early in the morning and be prepareed to make a day of it at the airport, or purchase your tickets closer to the date.
I am flying from Birmingham to Heraklion this Friday on flight MON1656 and was just wondering where the aircraft arrives from before my flight (just so I can check for delays!) Any info would be very much appreciated!
Sam
Your aircraft operates the ZB436/7 to Murcia the same day before your flight and it is an A321-200. For more information see the What Aircraft guide. For your information, it appears that it will be the aircraft registered G-MARA. This aircraft has screens overhead the central aisle and not the seats.

Thankyou for taking the time to check Partyboy_uk!
hi, just remembered something... i flew back to luton with G-OJEG, and since when does it have tv's over the seats instead of the old system?
Have been with Monarch(Avro) to florida several times and liked the fact that their prices included 20 kg of hold luggage.
Just looked today and realise they now charge £30 each for 20 kg.
So they too have now jumped on the band wagon like Thomson/First Choice and Thomas Cook charging for hold luggage.
Moan over!

Airline expands Canaries schedule
New flights to Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria have been added to Monarch's scheduled flying programme for next summer.
Two flights a week will operate from Manchester to Fuerteventura plus weekly services from Birmingham, Gatwick and Luton.
Gran Canaria will be served by two new flights a week from Birmingham and Manchester and a weekly connection from Gatwick.
The airline is also stepping up frequency to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Larnaca, Gibraltar and Ibiza.
The introduction of new services to Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria brings the total number of routes operated by Monarch for summer 2010 to 49.
Liz Savage, managing director of Monarch flights and holidays, said: "We are seeing huge demand for our mid-haul destinations this year and have responded to this with the introduction of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria in addition to increasing frequencies to Tenerife and Lanzarote meaning even more people can take advantage of our low fares."

I'd love it to be an A300 or A330 or maybe the 767!!!!!
Welcome to the forum. It is too early to say which aircraft will be operating your flight next year, however the 767 it will not be as this will be returning to Thomas Cook at the end of the forthcoming winter season. This year, the MON5765 has been operated by an A300B4-605R, but this could well change for next year.

Monarch do include the price of baggage in the cost of your ticket, but now they also give you the option of removing this cost if you do not wish to purchase it. Granted, not many people travelling to Flordia are not going to want their 20kg of luggage but this option has been applied across all charter flights and not just flights to Florida.

The same band wagon that keeps airlines afloat in face of stiff competition from the likes of Ryanair.
hi dazbo, flying dalaman with monarch monday 31st aug ,never flew with them before so what aircraft will we be flying on ,eg ; how many seats on board,is it a 3/3 row or 2/3/2 thanks dazbo.laingy
Please supply flight number and/or departure airport. Are you flying from Manchester again? If so, there are 3 flights that day so it depends which one you are on (MON7408/9, MON5620/1 or MON7408/9).
Darren
yea manchester again mon 7408/9.your quick response is fab!cheers!!!!
laingy,
A question about Monarch's Quick Bag Drop.
Does anyone know whether the Quick Bag Drop Desk is open for most of the day or does it only open around departure times?
I'm guessing the latter - in which case how long before?
The reason I ask is that I'm off to TFS on 20/9 (ZB932) which is due to depart at 14:45, but I have booked a lounge and want to make best use of it and also was thinking of signing up for IRIS since I'm likely to get there early and it'll make future trips a bit easier upon return - the IRIS office shuts from 1200-1500 so would miss it if I didn't get through before roughly 11:30.
Anybody have any ideas?
Cheers
PE
Edit: Forgot to say I'm talking about Birmingham. Soz
It should be open most of the day along with the normal desks and be available for when you plan to check-in.

Can anyone advise if Monarch have plans to expand this window to allow this ?
Quite a few of the other carriers already do this.
many thanks
Andy
Never flown with Monarch. I presume they will have same sort of legroom as TC? ie not much. Don't suppose there will be a movie?
We haven't bothered prebooking seats as we're all adults and not that bothered about sitting together. Do they pre-assign seats or is it at check-in?
Sorry if this has all been asked before. I read back a few pages but didn't find the answers.
