psumo,
Your Flights Will Be Operated By A Boeing 757-200 (Winglets), So The Seating Will Be As This Plan Here.
You Can Book Actual Seat Numbers By Phoning Thomson Airways, This Can Normally Be Done Between 4 and 6 Weeks Before Your Flight

Although I have no real evidence of this, I am guessing here that it is all about supply and demand. Probably a high demand for that destination so lets get rid of the premium cabin and squeeze more passengers on. All they have to do is refund the premium upgrades the passengers paid.
I have been subjected to this treatment too and am taking them to court over it for breach of contract. It looks like they're not defending it (they have a couple more days left to put a defence in) which is a shame as I won't have an opportunity to go to court and prove my case. Not that the court in question can set a legal precedent.

Hi Newbie here
Welcome onboard
When is it you're flying? Are you on the TOM7366/7 as TOM7355 doesn't exist (typo?). Flights are operated by a Boeing 757-200. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide.
Darren
hello there can any one tel me what size plane i will be flying on im flying wed 2/9/09 from ema to fue ????
Welcome onboard
Please quote flight numbers when possible. EMA-FUE-EMA (TOM7344/5) are operated by a Boeing 737-800 (winglets). For further aircraft information, refer to our What Aircraft? guide.
Have a great holiday
Darren
thank you very much will that be the same plane home in 2 week and do you know are they all good lol and thanks
It'll be the same type on both flights. You may find my flight reviews on this type useful. Links are on the Thomson Airways section of the What Aircraft? guide where you'll also find links to photos. They're comfortable aircraft and the youngest aircraft in the Thomson Airways fleet.
Darren
thank you very much
I don't think its really fair they shouldn't boast about there 33" legroom if they can not provide it on all the flights they have. I wrote them a letter just expressing how unhappy I was with the change and the only reply I got was one asking me to wait for a reply. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard back from them since. If it wernt for the fact they were only ones who did the Riu we wouldn't be flying with them again.

Following on from earlier comments we had already booked seats Row 2 E/F/G from Bhx-Cancun departing 3rd September. I am now worried that row 2 will be a bulkhead seat. The seat plans show two different versions of the ex First Choice B767. Is it possiable to find out which version we will be travelling on ?
I have rang Thompsons but they said it is to late to change the seats, do you think it would be still possiable to do this at the airport providing not everyone has pre booked there seats.
Thanks..
The seating depends on the aircraft assigned to your flight on the day. We'll know the day before your flight if you want to post your flight details. At the moment, it's looking like G-OOAN (seating plan Version 1) will be operating TOM662/3 on Thursday so 2 F/G are bulkhead seats. It won't be possible to change seats at check-in as they are assigned by them.
Darren
This happened to us - we booked Row 2 A,B and 3 A, B presuming it wasn't bulkhead and the customer services rep checked at the time -it wasn't on the seat plan. Unfortunately the plane was changed on the day and we were told our seats no longer existed, which was a bit confusing as clearly Row 2 and 3 did still exist on the replacement aircraft but Row 2 A,B was now bulkhead.
We had been given 3 A,B, C, D. I asked the check in clerk if we could have something else. She came back with 2 F,G and 3 F,G. We had to do this on the return leg too as we'd been preallocated 3 A,B, C and D too.
When you use the legroom and Premium Cabin as a selling ploy you should be made under law to honour the contract which it seems Thomson Airways are not doing on some routes by changing planes.
Nice to know my flight to Heathrow tomorrow will be on a 3/4yr old Airbus A330 (Qatar Airways)Maybe even an A340-600.
I was wondering if anyone knows what time of plane we will by flying on on this Friday (4th)
