Don't book through that site though as it is expensive. You can get up to half price tickets for some shows at Tix4Tonight http://www.tix4tonight.com , but not for the top shows such as O or Donny & Marie, etc.
If you do decide to do a show let me know which ones you are thinking of seeing and I'll see if there are any offers on tickets.

Luci thankyou so much for your help. Looking at any of the Cirque du Soleil shows, The Lion King, Blue man group, open to any suggestion really. Thankyou again
I was there in 2008 as part of travelling i done around the USA
We stayed in a cheap Super 8 hotel and it was very jazzy considering it wasnt a high end hotel, just like our nice hotels in the UK
You will definately have to visit each hotel and see what each has to offer as there is so much going on within each hotel!
If you like your shopping there are 2 excellent malls - the fashion show mall up the top end past the Mirage and the littler one by Planet Hollywood
your going to love it!
HERE
Some offers on shows tickets HERE and HERE. I see that the first one has codes that expire 31 January, but when I clicked through there is 25% off O tickets available until the end of February. It is unusual to get discounts for O.
There are good discounts there for the Blue Man Group too.
I can highly recommend Love if you like Beatles music, but the discounts only go up to 31 January. I would keep checking to see if it is extended.

My question is whether to pre book a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon or is it cheaper to book when we arrive?
I booked when I got to the grand canyon, cost roughly $200 for myself in the helicopter
K80vee thankyou for the link. Have a great time in vegas. Bet you are excited im having trouble getting to sleep im that excited. Happy 40th birthday
Actually we don't mind the South Strip location these last few years after staying at MGM a couple of times. We will however probably choose our last hotel North/Central Strip, depending of course on what deals are out. I can get Trump for about $95 on Hotwire, but I'm not that bothered yet, keen to see what else comes up. I'm thinking maybe I better get something booked for the labor day weekend though now!
Yes, desert rose has some free drinks during the week at their 'manager's reception', I think they do nibbles too. Also free breakfast, and there's a laundry, plus easy access for parking. I'm liking the sound of it, and the pics on TA look good too. I will of course report back...but it will be a while yet unfortunately.
New Tix for Blue Men: Beginning Monday, Jan. 25, a new $49* ticket will be available for all Blue Man Group performances at the Venetian. Previously, the cheapest seats were $71.50*. There's also an ongoing locals-only special offer with "friends and family" ticket prices starting at $42* (plus tax and service fees*).
Must admit, we've looked at the Desert Rose. Hotels.com has it for £31 a night midweek and £39 at weekends whilst we're out there in Sept. Not bad.
The good thing is, it cost us about £170 on top of the flight price, plus we also got 3.5% quidco because it was a 'package' on expedia. Just checked and it's £31 and £39 on expedia, plus taxes. We saved a little for booking along with flight.
Free breakfast, free wi-fi, free beer and wine mon-thur. I also read somewhere that they do some snacks those nights too at the 'manager's reception'. I've even just read somewhere that there's free cookies at reception
Will probably book to go early Oct....maybe 5th-15th.....we have to travel up to Gatwick the day before and as there doesn't appear to be any flights for the Monday we'll more than likely fly out on the Tuesday using the Monday to travel up by train......We shall stay at the same Gatwick guest house (Oakhurst)that we used last year as we couldn't fault their service.....
Anyone else going to be there around the same time ....we are flexible on dates so can change plans if it means we can make it to a meet
We'll probably be there for the whole of October. We're looking at six weeks again, so it will be either 2 in Sept and 4 in Oct, or 4 on Oct and 2 in Nov.
We can meet up in Bills like we did the last time........dunno if I can sit through Fat Elvis again though....lol
Don't worry I won't make you do that.
Ive just booked travelling thomas cook for my 50th omg! in july I can't wait never been to Las vegas so Im going to trawl through all the comments!
Any suggestions welcome!
Just me and me hubby
