Hi, I was supposed to be coming to the Meet on 14th April.. would it be ok to come on the 7th instead?

Hi Manx Minx you can come to whichever meet you like and you dont have to pre arrange it if you dont want to, you can just turn up :tup .... its just when people put there name down we sorta look out for them if they are new ... I am getting quite confused this last week with Maz and Minxcat and manx minx ... for a few mins thought i had met you there last week but that was minxcat and maz :rofl I'm not blonde for nothing!! :rofl ( and pink of course since Holi!!)

Hi Chilly,

Are those party poppers the same ones you had at Pauline's Party? They were brilliant! Just wondering where you bought them? We have a friends 65th party in Goa next March and I would like to get some for that if possible and BTW How much do they cost?

Hope you and Mike are keeping okay

Thanks Chilly...........Fizz x

yes Fizz they are the same ones!! they are the large size and cost 80rps each, you can get them in Mapusa market in either of the card shops... these are located down one of the right hands lanes in the market if you come in from the arch at the front... :que hard to explain but just ask someone ... they are brilliant!

Thanks Chilly,
Cheap as chips then :D I reckon we'll be having a few of those on the night :tup Hubby knows Mapusa Market better than me having spent hours and hours taking photographs there, I'm sure he will know where to locate the shop. Many thanks for the info.

Our 4th time in Goa this April, but like 'green' Nick I'm keen to know the answer to this - we might just make it along this time!

I have to say Nick that there does not appear to be too many mentions of 'good food and/or beer' recently - Seems to be all coffee and Gin...

eeerrrrr......still none the wiser but i think i spotted a bottle of beer and a menu in a least 1 pic! :cheers

These are meet ups with other HTers at the Carvery Restaurant in Candolim. You will have a great time, good company, good food and drink (most essential) :rofl and get all the news, gossip and travel information you need to enhance your Goa/India experience. So if you haven't put your name down for a meet as yet, then do, you will have a fantastic time :tup

See the pics of past meets in the Goa photo gallery.

sorry Nick and Kevin ... glad fizzy put you straight... :D my connection been playing up!! as she says the meets are at the carvery and if you go to the meets thread at the top of the stickys there are directions its in Candolim Beach road upstairs half way down on left... the coffee thing is a bit of a standing joke... hope you decide to come along anyway...we are a friendly (if thinning being April) crowd!!

Mazd was great meeting you and look forward to seeing you next year... :tup

sad to see that the Carvery has closed already for the season

yes Fiona its pretty dire here now, most places are closing... many did weeks ago!! quite a few in the Cravery road are also shut.. but some are still open...not many beach shacks left either and more coming down today and tomorrow been a poor season for them all really, one way or another.

hi Paul
welcome to HT :)
Oh yes- the meets are pretty lively at that time of year. :cheers Some claim they only drink coffee but from the photos it doesn't look likely :rofl
Assuming that everyone is happy to continue with the Cavery we will have a new list of dates up and running in the summer. Also need to check to see if Wednesday is still ok as well.
