hi, just wanted to know info on flight 862 from manchester to sharm on the 27th septhember?? thanks

Pippa,

I'm about 99% sure it will be an air-bridge, as this is common place at Gatwick airport. Though you might be one of the unlucky one's and have a malfunctioning bridge; in which case you will just walk up the steps to the aircraft. Hope that might help :)

Tom 882 changed from a 767 to a 757 from the 24th July, so it could change back at anytime, it prob depends on loading and availability.
The time changed with the aircraft so that might be an indicator, the 757 is at 14:00hrs not 15:20.
It actualy helps me being a 757 as there are three in our family and we will get a window seat now ;)

Pippa,

Subject to availabilty, they should be a using a gate with jet bridge.

lbreslin,

What information are you looking for? MAN-SSH-MAN (TOM862/3) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

simonw,

MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM168/9) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (long haul, 283 seats / winglets / G-OBYJ). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Rows 36 and 37 are as good as any other. Seating is personal preference really. IFE for Sept / October won't be released until the end of this month. There's a link on our What Aircraft? guide to the current listing (July / August) to give you an idea of the things to expect. BY-TOM-AMM-FCA usually posts it for us when it's known, and i'll update the link once it's posted.

Evening Dazbo, I see TOM292 to Taba (TCP) was late leaving today, Is there anyway you can find out which gate it left from Manchester. Was it a 757-200.

thanks

Garry_Nutter,

Gates are assigned on the day, flights / airlines don't get assigned particular gates so it varies daily. If you were wanting to know what gate a future flight will depart from, that's impossable to tell until it's assigned and on the screen.

mitchell tipton,

LGW-MLE-LGW (TOM054/5) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). Extra legroom seats over the wings are located at row 20 on a V2 aircraft, and row 28 on the V1. You'll find further aircraft details including seat plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
