.the names have been removed to protect the innocent...
lol
Still work at St. George, the hotel name has been changed and its not more with The Three Corners company, but everything still the same at the hotel and most of the staff still the same part of the normal moving for the staff between the hotels.
We asking when we will see you again, hopefully soon.
Best Regards
Michael Aziz
Guest Relation Manager
We returned late last night from sunny Sharm, weather never went below high 70s. Blooming cold here?
We had a great time at the hotel, with all the staff going out of their way to help make out stay most enjoyable.
Michael from guest Relations is a star.( he left for a holiday on Sunday) Fady, Romany in the bar, Madhoud and Samy at the small pool, Ehab in the pool bar(thanks for the pint jug) Victor in the restraunt, everybody.
The hotel has not directly been affected by the unrest in Cairo. Although the internet was a bit hit and miss when we left.
The hotel bank was still closed after 9 days with out money.
All trips to Cairo, Luxor, and Jordan are cancelled, others were suspended due to lack of petrol and diesel.
The shops in Nama bay were struggling to stay open, some hotels are closing due to the number of tourists being repatriated by their governments. Nama was a ghost town at night.
Saying all that, the St George still works at full strength and was expecting 77 folk in yesterday. and another 80 over the next few days.
We'll certainly return.
Don't be worried about visiting Sharm, we encountered No animosity or problems and had a great holiday.
Enjoy
Jimmy
thats brillant news, glad you had a fab holiday, and the hotel was what you expected it to be, we are off on tues morning from belfast to sharm, going to sharm inn amerian hotel only for a week though , then hopefully three corners later in year,
as far as the trips go ,we aint going to go on trips this time round its more or less a week of relaxing, but we will go down to nama bay at night for a walk. thanks for the update think it will put peoples mind at rest about sharm with the current troubles going on there, hopefully it will all ease of now . tammie
Don't worry about anything, just enjoy your holiday. wish we were going Back.
oh sounds good to me, was there a few years ago, and it was in oct time packed out and got pushed around a lot by the crowds on the day , roll on tues cant wait now
Prefer to hear it from the horses mouth rather than the press. If we were due to go tomorrow I would with no hestitation after reading that .

Thanks for posting it's good to hear a report form a regular on here who has just come back. So glad you had a good time.
I'm not going to St Georges, but it sounds like they are managing to give holidaymakers a good time despite the problems in Cairo which must be worrying for them.
I suppose there was no 'buzz' in Namma Bay like there normally is, but that's to be expected with all other Country's having pulled out I suppose and presumably not many last minuite booking.
I guess the hotels that are shutting are having to weigh up just how many guests they have and if it's financially viable to keep on the staff and pay them for just a handful of people.
Sounds like you will be back in the not too distant future.

You bet your life doepsmc, £300 AI for a week for 5* at the Kiroseiz(3 corners) Next week.
