Hi Magsy, our posts must have crossed. Just seen yours now. I'm only counting nine days 'cos that is when we fly out Going to hit the night life on South Beach in Miami, get totally drunk and sleep all day the next day and miss the cruise Well hopefully just the first part.
What to you REALLY think of the humour Or are you afraid to say, in case my newly-acquired solocitors, Hapless Helpless and Hopeless get the entire Forum - or even the Internet - closed down
for not barring us all for being - and if we've adverseley affected your thinking capacity, I'm sure we're all VERY

Oops , i just read my last post, when i said the first part, i did not mean the first part of the cruise but the first part of my that sentence, ie the getting drunk bit.
Please don't worry Dave, The sharing scenario is only being used now to help people who have NOT yet been allocated cruises. It doesn't affect those of us who have already had cruises allocated.
Given the other alternative offers people are receiving, flights, 1 week Portugal/Spain, 2006 cruise or cash, I personally think this is quite a good option. I honestly think if I was in the position of those who have not yet got cruises, I would give the sharing option a lot of thought!
Congratulations to Goose who got a cruise by this means, Lirica on 21st May.
good afternoon everyone, its wet, and miserable.i never checked when i got my cruise just took it for granted it was a single cabin.i may get a surprise,a tall handsome rich man who fancies a lady past her sellby date but like good wine i am better for laying down a while. oh well i can dream.more important banana boat having a refit.double the no of people can come bunk beds dividedby curtains.morning and night shifts so double the price.i am rubbing my hands.food will be dropped from above by special heron delivery..so come on all you cruisersjoin me on a trip of a lifetime.an experience ypu wont forget as on reaching port we come so fast the boat will rollover todisgorge youall. savd by the heron...carol.

Now you should be so lucky Smokey!
Smokey dear, perhaps you would kindly explain what you mean by "i am better for laying down a while." This tall rich handsome man does need to know what he can expect (or what you expect from him) - and so do we :rofl
Haven't you all forgotten something? The tall, rich, handsome men will be on my Back Garden Cruise - so none left for you, I'm afraid.
Have a great time Explorer and Wallecan. Yes you are first cabbie cruise
I'm one card short of a full deck
I'm not quite the shilling
One wave short of a shipwreck
I'm not my usual top billing
I'm coming down with a fever
I'm really out to sea
I think I'm a banana tree
Oh dear
No I didn't receive your PM, sorry. Re the HT car sticker, it shouldn't take 6 weeks to arrive so there must be a problem. I suggest you post in the Help & Assistance forum for Van/Glynis's attention here:

Will see what I can do in the meantime.

Yes, I am still following this thread... just As for going I think I've given up as you've all gone a bit daft, although I appreciate that the humour is what is keeping many people going. I just wish there was more news of people getting booked up although I see that new member Goose has managed to get booked for the Lirica after agreeing to share.
Gotta go as I'm at work and shouldn't really be on here.

Hi Luci - thanks for replying, I haven't seen you post for so long I was worried we'd all driven you up the wall. So very glad you're still sane - do keep it that way

I've just been shopping in Sainsburys and a dreadful woman rammed me with her trolley and then I heard her mutter 'b----- pensioners'. I'm in shock I'm not even there yet - I have a few (not many!) years to go..... or so I thought. Now I really ought perhaps to have a rethink on my wardrobe - when I think of the posh frock I've bought for this cruise, the words 'mutton' and 'lamb' come to mind!!
Trainers and skimpy tops - I'd better have a rethink!!!
I haven't read it yet, but there's an article in the Daily Mail today about older women wearing jeans.
This is SO depressing....
I've read it Allisu and fully intend to ignore it, as you should. I would draw the line at trainers and skimpy tops though unless you look like Goldie Hawn, and even she's not immune as I've seen pictures of her cellulite I feel that once one gets into one's prime (or over the hill as some would say) you should have a pretty good idea of what you can get away with. Also, many of us have children who would no doubt let us know quite quickly if we looked too ridiculous.
