Another great tip is to spray your bed, inside & pillow cases before you get in (just in case there hiding)

An even better one is to drink lots of white wine, the mossies seem to hate it. I was not bitten once but hubby drank lager and was eaten alive. ( we both used the same repellant.)
Where abouts in Rossendale are you Smam?

Ill have to try that ( the wine drinking ) its the nicest sounding Mossy repellant iv heard of yet haha I'm in a town called Haslingden Nr Rawtenstall, ! where u from?

Now I know what the woman in front of me was buying in Migros... I thought it was a charity gimmick... might just get one for myself... I pretty sure they were 1 ytl each and you got them from the checkout

never bother with anything like that for years me and my family just pop 2 yeast tablets every day for a month before we go and we never get touch they say the smell of the pigment puts them of nibbling, dont worry you wont stink of yeast it has just always worked for us.... 8)

we take garlic capsules everyday for a month before and when we are there they can smell the garlic on your skin

Just a thought, and I AM being serious.

I heard a few years ago that the Anti-flea collars for cats and dogs affected their kidneys. Do these anti- mossie bands have the same effect, and what chemicals are used?

cajd my husband gets a bad reaction to bites I give him piriton.
Leza why not try the bands as they are adjustable and can be worn in water. HTH sioux. :)
