An even better one is to drink lots of white wine, the mossies seem to hate it. I was not bitten once but hubby drank lager and was eaten alive. ( we both used the same repellant.)

never bother with anything like that for years me and my family just pop 2 yeast tablets every day for a month before we go and we never get touch they say the smell of the pigment puts them of nibbling, dont worry you wont stink of yeast it has just always worked for us....

Just a thought, and I AM being serious.

I heard a few years ago that the Anti-flea collars for cats and dogs affected their kidneys. Do these anti- mossie bands have the same effect, and what chemicals are used?
