I dont know about the ones you mention as i have never tried them but Avon skin so soft works, its the green one, woodland fresh. Apart from spraying it on myself i also do the mozzie net in the room too and have never had a problem.
nothing really worked for us but i think we were there at a bad time as reports dont seem as bad now as they are spraying the area quite a lot now, didnt when we were there
skin so soft didnt work either
hi, we came back from the pegasos palace yesterday, we used boots tropical mozzie spray (silver tin) only got 4 bites the whole holiday, and this was on the thursday night of the beach party......
WE took Tesco extra strength repellant, 50%deet, Autan with bayrepel. wipes, some stuff from Savers, with citonella lemon eucalyptus oil etc. mosquito bands for the boys (on their ankles) neat tea tree oil, neat eucalyptus oil, neat lavendar oil and no perfume! (overdo things a bit i know) but after a few days i started forgetting to put it all on, just a quick spray of the tesco one and so only hubby got one bite all hol, and i think a little one on my cheekbone! think you are either naturally repellant(sounds nice) or not, a lady in our hotel was covered in bites and had a plug in for her room too!! i always think that the Turkish repellant has got to be good as they have more mossys than we do!! there was one called OFF, not badly priced either, hope your holiday is bite free.

Unless you can order it off the Avon website which you probably wont have time for, I think (as my auntie is an Avon Rep) that you can only order it through Avon, i.e. if you have an Avon book dropped through your door, I don't think you can buy it on the highstreet but I may be wrong.
only from an avon lady as far as i know. but if you have a tesco nearby have a look at their own make (if they have any cos its winter stuff brought in at the mo) they do a 30% deet and 50% deet and that is supposed to be the best repellant round! sommat with deet in, its a chemical. like i said i got a bottly of neat eucalyptus from a herbalist and put a dab behind the knees, that is one of the ingredients in the herbally repellants. or wait till you get there and buy some Sim Koff, (whatever its called) good luck
same as you hilda, we get the "off" from the tansas, good price, good stuff, kendo
you can buy it everywhere...its a white bottle with an orange and black motif. its about the same formula as 'Off'
If you lıke garlıc then eat as much as pos as they don't seem to bıte people who have eaten ıt.
Bens 100 is about the strongest you can get....it's 95% DEET. I only use mosi-guard (all natural) as I have sensitive skin and didn't get any bites in Egypt in May when using it. But as I say Bens is the strongest I've seen.
does anyone know if taking the odour free garlic pill/capsule thingies will repel mozzies. i saw 1 post said to eat garlic so wonder if these will do the trick. i have very sensitive skin so am loathe to use sprays and lotions if at all possible.
I have also heard that taking these garlic capsules keeps the mossies away, my dad said eating lots of garlic the week before you go or eating lots of marmite keeps them away?????
yeah i read that too, just don't fancy stinking of garlic or having to eat marmite, but think i will try the capsules and hope for the best
