hi central 16. i also went to the pegasos on the 6 th june. i got moved and did not have to pay. this should help with your complaint that other customers were moved without charge.

have received a letter stating the family room i had booked in may 04 (2 twin beds double sofa bed) is now all double beds, no twins. i am not happy as my son and daughter will not want to share and i dont want them to share and why should they. First Choice have offered no alternative...just a letter advising us of a revised invoice on its way...which i recieved on tuesday. What can I do? We travel in four weeks.

I have a letter of complaint ready to post recorded delivery complete with copies of my emails to FC and their receipts to say they have been read.
Also thinking of sending a copy to ABTA and also trading standards and contacting Ros.
have just spoken to a lady at Ros' company, who advised me to keep badgering FC, the room change is a major change and they should not have done it, they obviously knew the situation when i paid my balance at the end of june and should of offered me alternative arrangements ! will be phoning Fc again today then
can any one tell us if there are laundary facilities at the pegasus palace. we are due to go on the 12 september from stansted, have been reading all the reviews and have mixed feelings.
have any of the first guests had any positve response or feedback from fisrt choice yet.
What is even more annoying now, is that some of the facilities that weren't all inclusive during our stay, now are!
i would have thought that would give you a stronger case to complain, if you have receipts of things you paid for that are now inc in the all inclusive then you might be able to claim this back or add this to your compensation claim, i had a lucky escape as nearly booked this pegasus for my wedding til i rang up and asked if it was near any towns and when they said no i decided i didnt want to go and be isolated, thank goodness i didnt get married there !!!
Unfortunately, we didn't get receipts for things like ice creams and sunbed cushion hire. However, there is no way that First Choice can deny that the hotel were initially charging for these things......or can they!!!
We went to pegasus Palace for 2 weeks on 20th June 05, have put my complaints in writing and also had the bog standard reply saying that they value my complaints and want to fully investigate them and will give me a detailed reply very soon .
Ros Fernihough Travel law lawyer is currently handling complaints for this hotel. She may be reached on 01922 621114.
We emailed our complaint on the 22th July. Heard nothing and when I chased it up received a curt email saying they had up to 28 days to reply. 28 days is up on Monday 8th August. Has anyone heard back about their complaints?
Will be ringing Ros for advice and sending another letter off tomorrow. We are very, very angry!
the 28 days are now up for me and i am starting to get fed up with first choice. i will now start another letter to ABTA see if i get on any better with them.
What kind of things did FC say Paula? Did they say why they thought that your complaint didn't warrant any form of compensation?
Like vodkafreak I would be interested to know what they said to avoid giving compensation. Our 28 days is up on Monday. We were there at the same time as Paula.
