As I am hopeless at directions check out
http://www.turunc-village.com/turunc.htm
There is a vitual tour on the site which is great for getting your bearings Habit bar is just off the main street pretty central on the map. It is bigger this year as it covers its original location and has taken over the area that BEEZ NEEZ used to be I'm sure Mustys is on the virtual map as well. Turunc is lovely!

.....if me and hubby want to go out to Marmaris of an evening, what is the best way to get back to our apartment in Turunc? Dolmus or taxi and how much can we expect to pay?

So looking forward to going back to Turkey. Went to Marmaris in 2004 - our first time. Only 5 months to go!! Yay!

LOVE Turunc - been going since '92 when I was 13, and been gng most years since, it has changed alot!!
For the last 4 years been staying at the Sen Aparts - love it there - Leon is so welcoming and very helpful!! Just what we need taking our 4 under 5's!
Going again in June this year!
It is so save there and feel as if you know everyone! Some of the now resturant/bar owners I've know since I first starting going,

Anyone going this year??

Cass4kids..4 of us will be in Turunc in June aswell but the 4 of us are just a bit over 5yrs. wont be hard to spot you with 4 little ones in tow if we are there at the same time, we arrive on the 16th and staying at the ROSE apts. (afraid we wont be available for babysitting duties though)

Sheila I bet you are looking forward to Turunc again. At least you won't need the oxygen mask this time (for the ascent of the Es!) Ross still asks about the ladies we met in Turunc hope you have a great time!

We are off to Turunc staying at Rose apartments on 5th May, and I am very pleased about the good reports on HT, seems like we will have a lovely time.
Please does anyone know if we can buy the equivalent of Semi-Skim Fresh milk in Turunc? Also, what is the nicest thing to buy for breakfast? I am having a hard time deciding what clothes to take, so I think I will just buy some there - is there a good choice for the larger lady(size 20)
Thank you to anybody who takes the time to read this, and even more thanks for any replies!
Best wishes,
Linda

Hi Linda

sorry cant help with milk or breakfast as I normally have the fattening English breakfast  while I'm away, which is why I require larger size clothing dont know of any shops in Turunc which sells largers sizes there is a shop in Icmeler that provides for the larger lady.

The shops that sell the copy clothing dont normally cater for us big girls.

my mother lives in marmaris and although shes about a 14 has a right game trying to get any clothes big enough to fit her , shes also not tall and has to come back to uk to buy most of her clothes, she says most of the clothes are around 8-12 max, so i wouldnt rely on buying clothes out there if youre bigger than a 14 which in my eyes is only average, shes trying telling the shop owners to get bigger clothes in stock as 14-16 is now more common but they just laugh
