we were at the Houda last october and had a fantastic time. There is plenty to do and the hotel is right on the beach.
If you have any questions, ask away and I will do my best to answer them.

I returned from Tunisia on the 5th Feb however stayed in Sousse on that occassion, i hope the weather is better as it rained 3 days of my last week
Hi,were also flying from Manchester at 2.30 i think, perhaps we can have a drink at the bar before we leave.
I'll be the one stressed cause i'll have been running late, an 11 year old boy with a face like fizz dittering 20 paces behind me.
Trying to make my travel arrangements now to airport from Edin. I have done this twice perviously with no issues however getting to manchester airport for 1300 on a sunday is proving quiet a task. Looks like i'll have to drive - god i grudge the parking charges
Hi,were driving down from Jedburgh on saturday and staying the night in a hotel which includes parking. Were on the First Choice Flight.
i'm going in august 2006. has anyone been recently, how was it. please have some nice answers i'm really looking forward to going.
I arrived back from the Houda on Sunday night and I had a great time! The hotel was lovely and clean, there was great facilities and the staff were great!
I would def go back again!
I will post a hotel review later, but if anyone has any questions.............
Elaine
Booked a room for 3 people got a double bed! had to be moved but ended up with no balcony although less that 40% of hotel booked out.
Food was same for 3 days lunch and evening - others also complained - it did change from then on.
Waterslides not advertised as closed on website booked through.
Staff and security failed to act when a female was out of order in the club infront of children (filthy mouth and trying to cause fight).
DJ wanted to go out with his girlfriend one night so played the same music disc over and over untill everyone left unable to take anymore - he was able to finish early and there was nowhere to get a drink as other bars closed.
Need to know any more????
The entertainment team however were a great bunch
To be honest we did not really fancy staying out that late when we were there we did a couple of nights at the nightclub but it was just the usual kind of chesse that you expect from a foreign holiday like this and we are in our 20s. There was one incident at the hotel between two women from different countries, but that was in the main reception and it was handled very quickly! The waterslide was open at some point as i saw some people using it! The food got a bit repitive but again this was not a problem for me, as it was so hot there I enjoyed eating pastas, rice and salad. I did not go expecting anything too fancy as they are cooking for a lot of people at the same time and probably do go for the easier options! I was just gald to get some good fresh food and no food poisioning! My one and only complaint is that there was a group of young people on a school trip or something who were very noisy at 4am, woke us up the first four nights and then when they left we got a baby of a few months old next us, who cried everynight! We did not really get a good nights sleep the whole holiday! This is not the hotels fault though! So all in all I would go back again!
Thanks for you answers. Can you tell me how far the beach was from the hotel.
There is a path round the pools that eventually leads to the beach, as it is quite a big resort its about a 5 minute walk from reception, which is n't to bad! Did not spend to much time on beach as I live beside one, but it seemed quite nice! There was a lot of people selling which was quite off putting as well!
It it just accross the pool and behind the sun loungers, i found only a few sellers on the beach who accepted a firm no thankyou and never approached me or my son again.
Going to the Houda 2weeks today flying from Newcastle any one else going or flying from Newcastle
hi we are going on the 18th june me and my hubby but can any one tell me the price of the massage because that is going to be my holiday treat to my self i wont one every day hope you enjoy your holls
hope you all have a great holiday me and my hubby are going for the first time 18th june from manchester for 2 weeks carnt wait
Sorry i didn't take any notice of the cost for these services as it's my partners line of work so had a private massage available daily - i knew there was a reason for him staying
oh thats nice of him but my hubby falls asleep ha ha can you tell me is it women who massage you ?as i am very shy and no way could i let a man do it
Me and my fiancee both got back massages and it was ladies that do them. They are very nice and gentle as well. It was not to expensive compared to prices in UK, I think about 15 dinars, although I will check with my fiancee and get back to you
thanks elaine but can you tell me how many dinars to the pound ?? as its our first time to tunisia thanks and we dont under stand the money yet ?
