hi regarding clothes you wont get much selection in turunc as it only has a few shops selling clothes and they are mostly t shirts swimming gear and so on as for semi skimmed milk i must say i never found one and we have been to turunc 5 times we go to the supermarket at the begining of our hols gomma in iclemere and get all our stuff to last us but we are there for a month
I copied this from an earlier post asking about semi skimmed this the one we used on and it tasted fine

My son would love to visit Turunc again this year when we are on holiday in Akyaka and say hello to Sami at Mermaids restaurant who was so good to us last May. (I would prefer to try to get to Hisaronu for the day.)
I said that I would try to find out if Sami is still at MERMAIDS as I know people move on. So if anyone is in Turunc or visiting soon can you let me know if Sami is still there. Ross (my son) would love to know!

hi there, sami seems to move around abit, he was on the beach front restaurant in july but in october he was at georgios bar. i sure it wont be that hard to find him im there in july so if your not there before i will let you know.....tracy

Hi fionay, we use semi-skimmed milk in UK and in Turkey, we always have the Pinar milk in the green & white carton and this has served us well.

we are thinking of staying in lavanta hotel on a late deal can anyone give me a review of this place.

Just had a text from the inlaws who are in Turunc as I type and apparently the Fidan is on fire and there are lots of ambulances - just had a text off father in law 
will do, will get dp to text again in a min - we're off to Turunc on Fri, once the inlaws get back 
Been told by text the bar - so I guess the front, will find out more tomorrow and post again
hi there dont know whats going on at the fidan tonite but it set fire in the winter months and was rebuilt as new recently any info much apeciated cass....tracy

fidan is by the mosque
Cannot believe it - we were in Turunc in April this year and one evening whilst sitting in the Habit Bar there was an almighty explosion and the next minute the Fidan was going up in flames . Before we left it was partially rebuilt. For it to have been on fire again after one month seems very strange. It is next to the mosque and the villagers were very concerned that the fire may spread but fortunately it didn't. We are going back in 2 weeks time so may find out what is happening.

Sad news-hope everyone is ok-Fidan was the first ever restaurant we tried in Turunc and we still have fond memories of the place
