I have just had a letter advising of flight changes from Luton on 25/05/06. Still no letter advising the PT is shut though. My Brother in Law who booked 6 months after me has had the letter advising no PT but no flight change letter!
What are they doing?
4 weeks and 6 days to go!
Hi Everyone. I have been reading this for a while now as myself and family are due to travel go to the Pegasos in August. We have today received a letter from First Choice to say the non-motorised watersports are definitely no longer available and also states, in regards to us no longer having a sea view, "when we are advised of a change, we want you to know right away"" Great eh - they've just realised after 12 months+, there will be no sea view. Anyway, the reason for my post is, from the letter, it would appear we have been allocated a family room. Sorry to be a pain, but I haven't got time to troll back through all these pages to find out what these are like - can anyone assist please? Are they OK??
hi ream, what sort of room did you book? are you in the tropical or the palace? did they say what sort of view you will have? and lastlydid they refund what you have paid for a sea view?
We are due to go to the Palace and when booking we only requested a sea-view, not a particular room. First Choice have refunded us £1 per person, per night (there are 4 of us).
just received a letter from fc stating that the jacauzzi suite that we have booked at the palace bedding wise comprises of a double bed does any one know what other sleeping arrangments there are
ream... the family rooms at the palace have at double bed and a double sofa bed that is separated with a sliding door, they are quite big
Hi all, weve got four interconnecting rooms anyone know what there like. Cheers Debbie
Thank you for your reply. Did you stay in a family room yourselves; if so, what sort of view should we expect? Not too worried, just nice to know
never mind hopefuly we will still have good time.
anyone else going out the same time. we have 2 kids aged 3 and 4.
I'm flying out from Glasgow on 15th May, woo hoo, three weeks to go!
I think our letter says there are no NON motorised watersports, I'm sure it does, so paragliding etc should still be available.
I'm a bit peed off though, been trying to get through to fc all day. I was promised a letter three weeks ago which was supposed to state exactly what facilities would be available or not and what they were doing with the pools etc. I received the same letter as everyone else this morning. Customer services number and just been ringing out.

I am in a jacuzzi suite at palace and also got the letter today about the bed being a double.....when i booked it said a king size bed and a double sofa bed and someone else i know booked a family room and is getting a refund of £1pp pn as they have no sea view even though it does not state sea view in description anyway. I rang my FC shop where i booked and said it seemed unfair they were getting refund for something they didnt even know they were supposed to get yet i paid extra for jacuzzi suite which should have king size bed anyway girl agreed and is phoning fc to see if i can have any money back..........if i get anywhere i will let you know.
Hi Catherine
I am with you on that one it definitly says NON motorised so i think parasailing etc should still be on....i hope so, also i think it just means FC arent doing it so it doesnt mean there wont be people on the beach doing it........that the way i took it.
Vicky
Still had no reply from anyone who had an interconnecting room last year, only asking cos me and hubby are staying in room with our youngest two which are a boy age 13 and girl 9 just hoping it isnt a double pull out bed for them to share otherwise they will be arguing all hols, ill have to shove them next door with our eldest and her friend. Ha Ha can see that happening aswell.

Was at the Palace August last year and went to Ortica for the market and Dalyan for a night out. Sarigerme Tours at the bottom of the town were extremely helpful to the point of us using them all the time. Ortica cost £3 each (party of four) and Dalyan £6 each for the round trips, which was by far cheaper than the quoted taxi cost. A mini bus picks you up at the main gate at your requested time and will take you wherever you want to go. They will pick you up for your return to the Palace at the time of your choice too. Maybe Guidemustafa1 knows the proprietors name, she was extremely helpful and would arrange a trip to just about anywhere.
Dalyan is definately the place for nightlife and has some very good restaurants and bars (great steak at the Golden Crab), but im not so sure about Ortica. We really liked Ortica as it gave you a taste of the real Turkey.
From time to time we were grateful to escape the Pegasos Palace. The Jeep Safari and Gullet Cruise were great days out.
Have a great holiday.

As Eddy told, Ortaca market is good and cheap for shopping on fridays but nightlife is very nice in Dalyan. We arrange all the excursions avaliable in the region. Our all excursions are insured Licenced travel agency&licenced tour guide and cheaper
Eddy
lam the licenced guide at Sarigerme Tours at the bottom of the street. lam guiding all the excursions myself now
Last year l just did long trips like Ephesus,Marmaris,Pamukkale etc..
the proprietor's name of Sarigerme Tours is Abdullah. his sister's name is Fatma. probably she arranged the trip you did last summer.
l will be only very pleased to answer your questions which you may have
Have an excellent holiday to everybody

yeah id definately like to go to Daylan for a night out if its nice down there. Is there a particular night that would be livlier or is it pretty average throughout the week.
