If we all accept refunds or different holidays and their measly compensation will we lose our right to take it further?

Couldn't get through to FC at all, was cut off twice, getting extremely mad... if it wasn't for this forum, i would be totally oblivious to it all as no one has contacted me....

or me........this is awful....and even more so that they are sitting there watching everything we say!!! And not doing anything sooner....I will be fine but my children were looking forward to this holiday...infact I won't be fine actually because I was looking forward to going on holiday with some really nice people.......May see some of you at the airport still...but we will all be going our seperate ways...and that upsets me.

I know what you mean Lisa. I'd be happy with a sunbed and some sun, oh and some voddie!, but I feel I owe the kids a bit more. Although I'm sure they'll be happy wherever we go. Just feel really at FC for messin us about.

nobody has rang me, i think its absolutely shocking...if it hadnt have been for this forum id have known nothing, i had just finished inspecting my tickets when i came home to my computer buzzing with messages. i think theyre panicking because of the bbc, otherwise wed have probably just been expected to put up with anything, its harder when you get there to do anything. I know from past experiences my hubby would have kicked off big style so maybe its just as well....have been told by thompsons it can be sorted straight away in store so im booking and cancelling tomorrow well theyre doing it for me...watch this space....

Starting to panic now!
Feel really bad for all you cancelled people.
I can't help thinking we will be the next cancelled lot. 5th July
After knowing what first lot of pegasus guests went through last year, didn't want to be in the first lot thats why we booked after it was hopefully already open for a few months.
Will you post what first choice tell you and I'll give em a buzz tomorrow as well hopefully we may get some answers (yeah right)

really annoyed now they have contact no for us all it costs us enough to ring them the least they could do is let us know

Hi guys, 1st of all id like to apologise to anyone that I didnt reply to at around 4pm this afternoon when all hell broke lose, I have pm popping up, my msn flashing constantly and I was on two phones, one to first choice and my mobile to my friend who we are going away with, hope i didnt come across rude, especially to blue spirit one of our dutch forum members, its just Id rung work to say I was running late and couldt stay and chat sorry!!!!

Can I just say to the person (sorry I forgot your name) who spoke to someone at FC called Vicky - up until 5ish not all customer service staff had been briefed about the closures, in fact the first operator I got through told me it was still all ok or 24th may. Apparently the supervisors were called in first and told and they were having difficulties letting their staff no the situation because of heavy volume of calls coming through. THE KABC IS NOT OPENING UNTIL 1ST OF JULY vicky needs to come and visit my kids tonight and tell them why because they are so angry and upset, they had made friends through MSN and was so looking forward to meeting them all.

For those thinking of Cyprus around the week of 14th June flying from any london airports - forget it there are no availabilities on flights, we tried for ledra beach in cyrpus, the oceania in halikidiki which couldnt accomodate us all, titanic beach in turkey again no flights from gatwick on and around 14th june, our only option for an all inclusive holiday with things for the kids that would sleep us all including a cot in the room was the PP, We have booked our Jabs this eve again the kids are very angry at having to have needles now, im not 100% happy about going to turkey either, I know that they have a mossie problem out there.

Im really interested now to see the BBC programme tomorrow just so that we can actually see the state its in. There is no question of doubt that its because of this programme we have been cancelled, as im sure without it we would all have been sent just like they did last year to PP.

I was wondering earlier if we would lose our right to fight this cause at a later date if we accepted alternative holidays and refunds now but I have been told that isnt the case, we can still take it up at an earlier date. Also, refunds may take up to 10 days so it seems most of us early ones, unless you have a spare couple of grand knockin around, will have to stay with first choice. Once again they have us by the short and curlies!!!
