Your PM was very aptly timed I must say. After going off the rails completely I decided to go back to SW this morning with my tail between my legs I paid my £5 rejoining fee and will most probably pay for a countdown next week on buy 5 get 1 free.
None of my clothes from last year fit and I was getting a bit disheartened. So, I will try now to lose a stone before mid August. I have a slow metabolism and am on thyroxine but that's no excuse!!
I haven't been able to go to the gym for a week as my knee has got progressively stiffer but it seems to be easing off a bit.Osteoarthritis. Overdoing the high impact aerobic classes . Maybe I'm too old for all this jumping around malarky

Just between us, after the lengths and breadths I've gone to look after my width, I'm not that fussed to go and muck up my routine SSssshhhh

Waahaay, thankfully I've lost 3lb this week, been really good though, eating well and been to the gym 3 times so would have been gutted if I hadnt lost anything - aiming for 3lb a week for the next 3 weeks before my hols. Talk about leaving it till the last minute
Joolz have a fantastic weekend at the lakes.
We have friends coming over for the weekend, so over indulgence will be a cert.
Have a great break everybody and as for me back on track from Tuesday onwards. 31 sleeps for holiday and lost weight and toned up, deffo feel better for it.

Hi all, back from a very wet Lake District. Not going to get weighed till Monday, give my body a chance to lose some of the excess fluid its carrying Walked for miles everyday while away. 7wks today till summer hols and still want to lose 8-10lbs.
I'm not weighing myself anyway but if any of you have had a naughty weekend take heart that it probably wasn't as bad as mine!
Returned to the gym today and just as I thought my got up and go had got up and gone who come on the TV to inspire me but Madonna, what a bod, so I stayed on the cross trainer another 5 minutes.
Off out for an Indian tonight though for daughter's 18th.
Good to see you back....back on track that is I am going to weigh in on Wednesday night instead of Thursday morning this week. Will obviously weigh more at 6pm than at 10 am but never mind. I have been quite good this week and have already had a peek on my scales. But.... all will be revealed soon.

Went out for my sisters birthday last night, and as she had gone to the effort of renting out a nightclub, the only polite thing to do was to get rip roaringly piddled, of course.
Then, as everyone knows, the only way to cure a hangover is to have a bacon sarnie. Oops.
At least I got so drunk I danced and danced and danced- even if my belly's fatter my thighs might be a little more toned, right?

Mazzza, i think everyone had a blow out this weekend..so don't feel too guilty about it. I went swimming on saturday early doors and then wasted all my efforts by sinking 10 vodka's before eating 2 slices of Pizza in my semi sozzled state. Sunday, there was a big theme night at the pub with bucking bronco hired and fancy dress, so more vodka and stopping out until 4am..monday was spent pretty much feeling sorry for myself until i got back to reality yesterday and started the fruit and the swimming etc again..and do you know what.. the stupidest thing is i stayed exactly the same weight..there must be a god somewhere...my target is losing 3lbs this week.
Val, I think that god is looking after me too - sank two bottles of red wine, one large pizza and a banoffee sundae last week, but have lost 3lbs. Lots of vigorous exercise at the gym must have helped. Need to lose 6lbs now in the next 4 and a half weeks before my holiday and I will have lost 3 stone. Seems achievable now, so no more blowouts planned.....
well done meerkat.. do you feel better within yourself knowing you are so close to the target? I feel like i am so far away from my 2 stone.. so i just go for 3lbs here and 4lbs there in the vain hope that by october time i have lost my 2 stone...so far the only thing i can say with my new regime is that i feel fitter ( even if i am not!!!) andof course packing in the fags a couple of months ago helped ( but everyone says i will gain weight..)
Nah Val, if you were going to gain weight you would have already done so. Good for you all who are doing so well!
