Has anyone been in oct as im looking to book today for oct next year and just want to know will it still be open, ie the the town market ect ?????
vikkib, we went last oct and again in july/aug this year, the only difference really is the weather and the temp of the pools, its still hot in the day but nothing compared to july also its gets quite chilly in the evening but the entertainment is still outside so you would need a light jacket in my opinion also the pools were very cold in oct, i did'nt go in because they were sooo cold. we are looking at booking for next july again glad you enjoyed it
Hi
we went the first week of july and they were warm then
hi, my family and i stayed at the palace in august 05 (the first season it opened)..we had a great time, although i was ill and was only just able to fly home !! we stayed in a family room for 5 by the slide pool and ampitheatre. im thinking of booking for next summer but have noticed the brochures now state its one holiday village..(not tropical/palace)..i want to definately stay palace side of complex in a kids den. any one know where the kids dens are situated...........also are icecreams still included in AI...............ps i hear the foods improved on the first year..thank god !
Best wishes
hi, thanks for the reply. the reason i was booking a kids den is mainly for the seperate bunk beds rather than a sofa bed, also thought there would be more room for a cot aswell.......anyone know if the jacuzzi suites are bigger than family rooms and will accomodate a cot without feeling too cramped. thanks
just wanted to say that i agree with what juliakill said, our family had one kids den and one standard room, the only difference being the bunk beds and some fancy sheets. My teenage stepdaughter slept on the sofa bed for the week and made no complaints about it being uncomfortable, and she would soon have let us know. you get no extra space at all in the kids den. I have written to first choice complaining that the brochure was misleading, but they haven't even acknowledged my letters.
Hi could anybody tell me if they have clothes airers at the palace or have I got to take a washing line and pegs with me Thanks
hi, from what i can remember there is a airer fixed to the wall on the balcony
We were in a Jacuzzi suite at Palace and had a cot in our room no problem there was plenty of room....the bedroom in jacuzzi suite is actually a seperate room with sliding door and sofa bed in lounge....you could also have fit cot there if you wanted to.
I would stay in Jacuzzi suite again.
It is palace you stay in next year if you book out of FC brochure
Small clothes airer fixed to balcony wall.
Yummy ice cream still included from the beach bar.
Vicky
Could you tell me where on site the beach bar is located as I know my kids will be hunting for the Ice Cream!
Thanks
Nia
What a great place, the hotel and grounds were lovely and clean. The complex wqas huge and it was a little walk from the palace to the tropical. There was always someone around cleaning. The rooms were nicely decorated there is an airer on the balcony for drying clothes.
The food was good i thought there was alot of choice and the desserts were lovely ,there were diferent dishes everynight don't know how you wouldn,t be able to find something you would like to eat.
Especially liked turkish night on a Saturday when they had a small market set up and even camel rides.
We visited the local market on the sunday but it was too much ,too in your face. My partner did purchase a few things from the shops just before the main stalls as they are alot quiter.
There is a photographer on site who took some beautiful pics of us and they werent to bad priced either about £4.50 each.
The entertaiment was good bingo ,quizzes, shows. I took my daughter once to the kids club but she didn't want to stay but they have loads going on all day and night.
We went on the family cruise booked it with first choice wqs £20.00 each was a lovely day out.The kids entertainment on board was good with games ,colouring and face painting. The food was also nice would deffinatley recommend it.
Overall a brilliant holiday anyone who hasn't been yet you will have a great time. It is a lovely place .sweetipiex
If any one want's to knowanything will be happy to answer any questions.
The ice creams in the all inclusive were in the snack bar near the beach it is a bit of a walk from the pools.
